Newly installed A/C! Garden Paradise on Poipu Beach!

Welcome to Kiahuna Plantation, a tropical paradise located on the beautiful island of Kauai. Our spacious, low-rise Condo resort is situated on 35 acres of manicured lawns and tropical gardens, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. Located in the heart of Poipu, our Condo is just a short walk from the beach, where you can swim, snorkel, boogie-board, and surf in the calm, protected waters.

Our Condo with newly installed A/C is located on the first floor of building #11, unit #57, and features a recently remodeled bathroom, a new refrigerator and dishwasher. The lanai, which has recently been re-tiled, opens directly onto the lawn, providing the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We offer free cable internet and a wireless router, allowing you to stay connected while on vacation. There is also a convenient barbecue grill located right in front of our unit, and a laundry room just steps away.

As a guest at Kiahuna Plantation, you'll have access to the Poipu Athletic Club, located just across the street. The club offers a range of amenities, including a fantastic pool with a waterslide and toddler beach area, tennis courts, and a fully equipped gym with weights, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and more. For a small fee, you can also participate in a variety of classes, including Water Aerobics, Core, Yoga, and Training Essentials.

In addition to its prime beachfront location, Kiahuna Plantation is conveniently located near the Poipu Shopping Village and the Kiahuna Golf Course. We were disappointed with the condo. There was a large stain on the carpet when you enter the bedroom. The furniture is worn and sun-faded. Overall, it seemed to be in disrepair and in need of updating. For example, the grout in the tile was nasty. The resort itself is beautiful and located in a great area. The grounds are gorgeous. We would stay at Kiahuna Plantation again, just not in this condo.

Condo is great - lots of light makes it feel open and spacious. Lanai feels like a private area with the trees blocking neighboring condos view. Short walk to the beach and several restaurants. Easy walk to Poipu Beach to snorkel and see the seals and turtles.

We stayed here 15 years ago under another owner and the unit did not disappoint! It was as advertised, and there were beach items available to be used. The kitchen was stocked with additional dishes to make it easier for our group of three families to congregate from other units that were not as well equipped. Thanks for making this a great family trip!

What paradise should be

I loved staying here. It what paradise should be…waking up to the sounds of birds singing, the wind through the trees, and occasional rain. The property was beautiful and the condo was exactly as expected. The condo was very lovely with its Hawaiian charm. Check in was super easy and the staff was very friendly. Refreshing and restful stay

We had a most fabulous time in Popiu this visit (our 3rd). The condo was clean and represented well on the listing. Our only wish would have been for it to include some folding beach chairs as the stairs near the beach shed were washed out and the ones we could use for 'free' were too cumbersome to get to the shore. All in all, our visit was just what we desired and we wanted to stay longer! Thank you!

Lovely Setting

We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation several times before, so we had something to compare this condo with. The kitchen needs to be updated (in fact, the refrigerator stopped working while there), and the upholstery and rugs need a good cleaning. The bedroom needs more lighting. Otherwise, the place was a fine home away from home, comfortable with a lovely location on the grounds.

Bathroom sink

On the next to the last day of our stay, the drain plug would not stay in the open position to drain the water. We had to use one hand to hold the drain open whenever we ran the water and didn’t want to fill the sink up. That was the only problem we had. Just telling you so you know about it for the next guest(s). Otherwise we loved our stay.

Nice condo in great location

Very nice unit in great location. Check in was a little odd with Castle. Due to Covid limits, we had to do the check in standing outside on their porch but it was understandable. Unit had everything we needed to cook and had plenty of room for the two of us. Saw boogie boards though we didn’t use them. Fridge was rattling a bit so might want to check that out, but didn’t bother us too much or keep us awake. We had some issues keeping the bugs out. We always kept the screens closed but they kept coming in somewhere. Bed was firm but very comfortable. Coffee pot didn’t work (seemed shorted out) but we called the front desk and they rushed us over a new one right away. There was a rooster that serenaded us at all hours but we managed to keep the noise out at night by closing the shutters. An extra standing fan would be nice as we had an issue keeping the place cool, even with the ceiling fans on and shutters open during the day. Overall, a great place and is well kept.

My adult niece and I really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is a very short walk to the beach with plenty of beach chairs and access to beach. Very friendly workers and grounds were beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. cons: no air conditioner which was fine for April but maybe not August, the pool was a very long walk across a busy street and up a hill at the shared athletic club which leads to my 2nd con, you really need a car. Very limited car services like Uber etc.
