An Awesome guest house located in the back of our home waiting to welcome you to beautiful Hawaii! We are just a short walking distance from Kailua Beach and Kailua town. This property is an owner occupied home.

The cottage is equipped with a small refrigerator, dish washer, cook top, microwave, toaster, dishes and cutlery. Coffee and Tea are provided for 1st morning, but you may want to stock up on fresh produce at our local farmer's market (Thursdays and Sundays).

Help yourself to beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling masks, a SUP. Upon returning home from the beach rinse off in the hot water outdoor shower, hang your beach clothes and maybe nap to the soothing sounds of out tropical birds cooing. Afterwards you might choose to head into charming Kailua town. We have a variety of yummy restaurants at various prices and a Whole Foods!

If you choose to venture out to explore the island which is only 40 miles tip to tip Kailua is perfectly situated. We have the H3 highway, Pali highway and Like Like. As a Kama'aina I am thrilled to offer you suggestions to my favorite adventures here and off island.

Washing machine and dryer are provided and shared upon request.. It is furnished with a bunk bed and a new queen size bed. It is meant for a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults 2 children.
We are located at the end of a quiet cul de sac.
You have a parking space next to mine in front.

I live on site with a friendly and sweet 4 year young dog, True. She mostly keeps to herself, but if you have treats that might change things.
We look forward to welcoming you to our place in paradise.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

It was our second stay at April’s place. She has thought of everything to make it a “home” experience. The room is tastefully decorated and has made good use of space. There’s an outdoor area that is lovely -exclusively for the guests. We love staying in Kailua and found it to have warm,blue waters all times of the year. We definitely will want to return there and enjoy the getaway that April provides in her cozy cottage. She and her doggie, True, offer great Aloha spirit.

Excellent place to stay

The cottage itself and the host, April, were fantastic! My stay at the cottage was wonderful. April offered many useful suggestions on places to visit. I would 100% stay here again and would recommend it to everyone!

Friendly and Quiet

Host was very friendly and checked in to make sure our stay was good and we had everything we needed. Cottage was quiet and an easy walk to beach, restaurants, and shops. Would stay again.

Relaxing and friendly.

Adorable cottage in a wonderful neighborhood

April makes your stay perfect. We usually use another house booking platform, so this was our first time using VRBO. We've rented about 20 different places in the past year and a half, and April was by far the kindest and best host we have dealt with. The cottage is just as pictured, and walking distance to kailua town (all of the stores and restaurants) and the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and it's a very tropical setting. We would definitely stay their again.

Property is as pictured. Nice that beach chairs, coolers and beach towels were included. Recommend renting a car as it is too far to pack stuff to the beach. There are several beaches within eady driving distance and lots to explore on the island. Only complaint would be the outdoor space which is not very private or particularly appealing. Also would be nice to have a full size fridge as we were there for a month. Host was helpful.

A Five Star Experience

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Kailua. The property is exactly as seen in the photos….compact, comfortable and easy to make feel like home. It’s proximity to the beach and town we’re perfect and April could not have been a more accommodating host. Definitely recommended for those looking to get to know Oahu beyond the hotels and tourist areas.

Great place to send a month

Really enjoyed my stay here. Place is just how as it is shown in the pictures and location is great. Like half a mile to the beach and you can borrow all sorts of beach equipment from April. Kailua is also a really nice town, plenty of places to grab some good food. Currently trying to find a way to move to Kailua

Four weaks in paradise

Everything was perfect! We loved to stay for four weaks with our family, two childs 6 and 3 years old in this beautiful house! The host April is such a wonderful person, very helpful, friendly and always tried to beautify our stay! She slways had very helpful tips or recommendations to where to go, where to eat or what to see. And it was fun just chatting with her. On the other side we could have time just for us when we wanted to. After a few days it felt like coming home, when we came back from the beach or an island trip. The cozy apartment is well equipped with everything you need and if we were looking for something special, for example a pot in a special size, April got one for us! What we liked a lot was the fully equipped surf, snorkeling, beach gear which we could use whenever we wanted to. There were even beach sand toys, balls, beach rackets for our kids. The location of the house is perfect, in a quiet friendly neighborhood, where the kids could play on the street because of the dead end road. It is a 5-10 minutes walk to the beautiful Kailua beach or the lovely town centre of Kailua, where you can get everything you need. There is so much to do and see on this little island and Kailua is a perfect destination to discover everything, so we didn't need to go to one of the other islands, even in four weeks. Thank you very much April for having us at your wonderful house and for everything else! We would love to come back some time! Daniel with family.

Kindness in Kailua

The studio was perfect for us and April was very accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed the outdoor lanai and gas BBQ. The location was very quiet & convenient. We had a wonderful time & It was hard to say goodbye but we know we will be back to stay with our new friend April.

Great location for walking to the beaches or into Kailua town. Very cute and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and the beach. The host was very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We will be back!
