Had a great stay on the property. Had a little hangup with the check-in process but Kevin resolved it promptly and there were no further issues. Definitely enjoyed the location and its close proximity to downtown Hayesville and other locations.

The address was difficult to locate. The facility smelled strongly of disinfectant. There was no salt or pepper in the kitchen. There was no napkins, paper towels and not even a box of kleenex in the bathroom. The owner did provide coffee with the wrong filters when we asked. Bathroom towels were thin.Very different than the other vrbos we have used.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I’m sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We do provide a starter set of essentials for guests, and items such as salt, pepper, and additional paper goods are not always stocked in every home, which is noted in our listing—though I understand how that may have been inconvenient during your visit. Regarding the scent and towels, our cleaning team uses standard disinfecting practices to ensure the home is sanitized prior to arrival, and the supplies we provide are consistent with what most guests typically find comfortable. That said, we appreciate you sharing your perspective, as it helps us evaluate where we can improve the overall experience. We’re glad we were able to provide coffee during your stay, though we were not aware of any mismatch with the filters. Your feedback is important to us, and we will review these details with our team to ensure we continue aligning expectations with what is provided.

I have enjoyed this area my entire life and have maintained a local rental business for over 20 years. I graduated at a local school across the state line and reside approximately 6 miles from the property.

Why they chose this property

The home location is situa
The property orientation is convenient to downtown, connects to a hiking trail and overlooks Carolina's vintage farm equipment. It is situated within 2.5 miles from Lake Chatuge. The Georgia Anderson Music Hall is 9 miles from the property. Hiking trails are abundant and situated nearby. For example, Brasstown Bald is 25 miles from the dwelling. Bald Mountain is situated between 2 native trails: the Arkaqua trail and the Wagon Train Trail. I have walked each of these trails and the views are amazing. The hike is steep in some places but is worth the walk.

What makes this property unique

This property is situated within a premier tourist hideaway location in downtown Hayesville, North Carolina. The property borders a 2-mile hiking trail called the Quanassee Path linking historical Cherokee culture to Hayesville's convenience to premier downtown entertainment. The gravel pathway runs through a botanical garden, past a creek, and through sports fields, eventually ending at the Spike buck Mound. Another important aspect is the properties accessibility to convenient town square entertainment. Located within 2 blocks from the town square and within walking distance to night clubs and the city’s most popular restaurants show cases this property as the best location in Hayesville. Take a short walk to downtown Hayesville’s best night time dining facilities or take an evening jog on the Quanassee Path and enjoy a weekend getaway.
