A unique retreat, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath flat is in The Sundowner, the only four-plex on Harbor Island—Located on prestigious Mickey’s Alley, only a block from the Beach and Racquet Club and only steps away from a walkway to 2 ½ miles of unspoiled beach.
The welcoming little front porch with its two comfy rockers sets the tone for the well appointed and comfortable interior. The living areas of this open floor plan are wonderful for entertaining or just kicking back to relax.
The living and dining areas open onto a 25 foot long deck with hammock, overlooking a protected bird rookery with views of the Harbor River and its glowing sunsets. Perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening beverage! You’ll feel right at home in this spacious flat with a well appointed and comfortable interior which includes a high speed wireless internet connection, wet bar, and a large color television with cable and DVD player.
Two comfortable sofas provide plenty of seating for family & friends! One sofa opens out to provide additional sleeping accommodations. Easily seating six, the dining area has a large ceiling fan and plenty of light. The adjoining open kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, cookware and dinnerware, and a full sized washer and dryer are tucked away in the hallway.
The private master suite offers a queen sized bed and adjoining dressing area with ample space for clothing and accessories. From the dressing room, enter a private bath with double sinks and a shower, which can be closed off from the large jetted tub. The master opens onto the large deck adjoining the living area as well as onto its own, smaller, private deck. The guest bedroom offers two twin beds and plenty of storage space for clothing and personal items. A full bath is conveniently located adjacent to the guest bedroom.
All rates exclude taxes and vehicle gate pass; departure cleaning added to stays of less than one week. We welcome your dog (dogs only-limit one; sorry no cats due to allergies) with pet fee. Email us for availability! NO SMOKING PLEASE"

We had a wonderful weekend at this condo. It was clean and comfortable. Short and easy walk straight to the ocean. The sunset views from the back deck are absolutely breathtaking ! My Yorkie loved it too !! Will be back again !

Our grand daughter is turning 9 years old and this her favorite place to stay, even over the water parks on Kiawah. The sunset porch not only offers spectacular views of the sunset but a Rookery that I have never seen the equal of in my life time. The property was clean comfortable and well stocked. Property manager has always been very attentive
We had a wonderful stay! The condo was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked as was the entire condo - extra sheets, blankets, beach chairs. We felt right at home, and everyone was so friendly. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. The beach was just a short walk away, and we enjoyed the relaxing walks on the beach. Watching the birds from the deck was so much fun! We would definitely recommend your home to friends and hope to come back again!
Very nice condo, everthing was clean and the place was quite and relaxing and convenient to walk to the beach or pool.
Harbor Island is a gated beach community 14 miles south east of charming historic Beaufort SC. Harbor Island is quiet and low key, and offers 2.5 miles of natural beach, acres and acres of unspoiled tidal marsh, several bird sanctuary lagoons. Beaufort is about 25 minutes away and is a lovely town similar to Charleston or Savannah, but on a much smaller scale. Beaufort offers shops and restaurants along the waterfront park on the Intracoastal Waterway and nearby, tours of the historic district (both horse & buggy and walking tours) and boat tours are available from the downtown marina. If using a GPS or on-line mapping program, enter Saint Helena Island instead of Harbor Island....Harbor is considered to be a part of the larger township of Saint Helena Island.
Golf: There are several golf courses open to the public, within an easy 20-30 minute ride. We will be happy to provide a list of the courses and contact information.

NOTE: pass fees are set by the Island and are subject to change. 3% Service Fee. Starter supplies (1-3 nights) provided of paper towels, dish and dishwasher detergent, trash bags, toilet tissue, hand and bath soap.
