Overall i would stay here again. Its not very suitable currently for little children as all of the kitchen drawers are off tracks and can easy fall out. The 2 bunk rooms twin beds are all in need of some new box springs or mattresses but again wasnt terrible. The positives: very close to downtown and craig park. Sponge docks are close too. The house has plenty of space and bedroom layout is good for 2 families with younger kids. The negatives: very loud all night with traffic since you are directly on main road.
We loved our stay. The house is located in a great location. Close to the beach, Sponge Docks, downtown Tarpon. The house had spacious rooms and a great fenced in back yard.
All was good except a loss of internet at no fault of the host.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
The host did not give us the security code for getting into the property. After two calls, he still have not returned our call. The property was for sale so we ended up calling the realtor and he was able to give us a code to get in the door. We did contact Vrbo and supposedly they are giving us 125 credit for the 40 minute delay in getting into the house. That has not been received yet. The hot water blinked the lights every time we used it. It needs to have its own dedicated circuit. The house was very clean, but because of the check-in process and the hot water issue with the lighting, it was a little frustrating.
The house has a lot of character, easy to find, the host was a fast communicator. House was clean with the exception of a couple spider friends, but it’s Fl so that comes with the territory. It served the purpose of my family meeting for a wedding and it was beautiful!

So very happy that you enjoyed your stay! We would love to have you again!
Liked there was a parking area behind the home for 4 cars. Very clean but know you need to bring all toiletries with you. Some soap dispensers full but others had very little. Would love to see lamps in every bedroom as well as luggage racks. Please bring your clothes hangers with you- very few in closets. The fences in yard is not attached to back door. The fenced in area is nice but the gate to get in has a gap around opening a dog might be able to get out. Loved the old house feel to it. There is traffic noise due to it being on Alt 19- 2 blocks away from downtown Tarpon Springs. We would stay there again.
Our professional group had a very nice stay in the Tarpon House. It is situated within walking distance to the waterfront and to Walmart for all grocery needs.

Great, historic house. Lived in and up to date appearance. Would stay again. Convenient to area sites.
Had a great stay! Even with 10 people, we still had a lot of room. On kind of a busy corner, but was very quiet inside and so close to downtown. Well stocked and nice place, everyone was happy! Would definitely stay here again.
This house was wonderful for our needs. We had family fly in from different states to celebrate my father-in-law’s 90th birthday. The home is absolutely beautiful and accommodated all of our needs.
10 college fraternity brothers who graduated 50 years ago gathered to renew friendships and memories. we stayed at 2 locations in town--your house was perfect!
