Step into a beautifully and tastefully remodeled beach cottage with original wooden floors, lovely mid century details, solid Carerra marble bathroom, and redwood deck. Open living space with dual sliders to redwood deck, one full bedroom with one convertible dining room open to kitchen that sleeps additional 2 people, and sleeper bed in living room along with couches for plenty of comfort and entertaining potential. We like to think of ourselves as a authentic historic cabin. If you want total luxury and bling this likely isn’t for you, but if you want an authentic original cottage with 100 year charm and rustic features like original plank flooring, and lots of character we think you’ll like what we have for you. Casa Blowdega is such a charming little cottage in a great location. We enjoyed our weekend getaway here. The easy parking and check in process was also a plus! We had a question for the owner when we arrived, he went out of his way to get in touch with us and was so accommodating. An added bonus were the parking passes for use at the state parks/beaches in the area. We will book this cutie again in the future!

Great place for a family five, ample space and all amenities needed. Location was great we were able to visit Point Reyes, Armstrong Redwoods, Guerenville, hike the Bodega headlands and spend plenty of time at the surrounding beaches.

Easy and efficient check in and communication with the host. Perfect space for myself and husband. Storage for clothing and toiletries was minimal but we were able to use the vanities in the bathroom and the hallway. We wished we had brought hangers to get clothes out of bags, but found an organizer which we used for clothing in the closet. The bed and pillows were comfortable to our liking - not too soft or too firm. We did not cook food, but had the utensils needed to warm left overs. We enjoyed how close this house was to the eateries and the trails we wanted to explore. We wanted a location with more of an ocean view but didn't want to pay the higher price so this house was perfect for all other details we wanted to accomplish on our vacation. Thank you Stephen for being so responsive for our check in/out process.

A magical weekend getaway

We absolutely loved this little historical gem. This home is tucked in a sweet and quiet neighborhood, centrally located, super clean, has comfy blankets and sheets, and is thoughtfully decorated. The host was fabulous and very kind. We hope to be back soon!
