We really enjoyed being right on the beach and having a private walking trail. The hot tub and separate unit above the garage was perfect for my family. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

This is a well appointed house in an excellent location in Rockaway. It was clean, comfortable and quiet and being right on the beach didn't hurt. The host was responsive and helpful with questions. We would definitely stay here again.

I'm a volunteer for a non-profit that grants wishes to adults who have terminal illnesses. We rented this home for a wish recipient who wanted one last family gathering. They hand picked this home for it's amenities and beauty. This is what our wish recipient's daughter said upon returning home: ""I have memories of her laughing by the water when we would have to roll her wheelchair back quickly to keep her from getting wet or being sucked into the waves. I remember watching her sit on the back porch and just stare out at the ocean and we would watch my son fly a kite freely for hours with no trees on the beach so we could take it all in. One of the days we were the only ones on the beach in a storm. So many memories, but mostly just having everybody with each other was awesome, and if she didn't want to leave the couch, we didn't. Just to be able to be still and stare out at the ocean was a blessing." Thank you for allowing us to rent this beautiful property for this lovely lady's last wish.

STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK1 star for the iTrip management and their cleaning crew:1. A pair of women’s underwear and used maxi pad were found in one of the beds, making it evident the room had not been turned over with clean sheets. 1. ITrip came out to resolve 1 room, but we had asked all rooms have clean sheets given this issue. They ignored this request, so we had to wash all sheets ourselves. 2. Grill, fireplace, and dishwasher were inoperable. 1. ITrip did warn us about the dishwasher before arriving, but no guidance on how they would resolve this issue for our trip. 2. For the grill and fireplace, iTrip texted that we were operating them incorrectly, however we used ChatGPT to reference the model and user instructions for each, never successfully getting either to work. (Fireplace light and fan would turn on but did not emit any heat. The grill was not operational at all.) 4 guests who use and maintain their own gas grills were unable to troubleshoot the situation.) We asked for onsite assistance, but only received an apology and no acknowledgment of our request for assistance. The house location and view are excellent; but it is evident this management company is cutting costs on their cleaning company and house amenities. This house overall felt dirty from the bedding, rugs, and furniture.

Amazing family trip

We had a great time! The location is amazing, right on the beach. Lots of towns close by too which was nice to have more options for eating out. The house was perfect for my family. Plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub was clean and I love the privacy fence by it. The owners really thought of it all, it's beautifully remodeled!! Definitely adding this wonderful home to our list of favorites! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Idyllic Beach Retreat

Everything about this house was exactly what we were looking for – it is the ideal spot for families and friends. The house is beautifully done; thoughtful details abound. The garage play-room was perfect for our tweens who wanted a bit of their own space to watch TV and play ping pong. The hot tub overlooking the ocean was amazing on chilly evenings for all ages. And the expansive and uncrowded beach is right beyond your deck. It’s also a short walk into town to grab ice cream or a bloody mary depending on your preference. Plus the property management company was very quick to respond and made check-in easy. Would love to come back again!

This is an incredible location and the house had a lot of great amenities and kitchen supplies. There were a couple of issues, like the dishwasher stopped working and then later an alarm went off that said do not unplug..we did not know what it was or how to turn off. The management responded pretty quickly but they were not able to fix the dishwasher. We got paper plates and managed with hand washing. Overall still a great place to stay and I would recommend it.

Overall, we had a good stay. The home was very clean inside and had the number of bedrooms and bathrooms described in the listing, which worked well for our group. The oceanfront setting was beautiful and there was plenty of sleeping space for everyone.A few things are worth noting for future guests. The main living room felt somewhat smaller in person than it appeared in the listing photos. More importantly, the pathway and steps down to the beach are quite difficult to navigate and are not what we would consider easily accessible. We were traveling with three kids and two seniors, and the seniors in our group were unfortunately unable to access the beach at all, which was very disappointing given that we specifically chose and paid a premium for an oceanfront property. I think the listing should include a clear photo of the steps/path down to the beach so guests can understand the accessibility before booking.We also had a minor issue at check-in because the code provided to us did not work. We had to contact the management company and send them a video showing what we were doing before they provided another code, which did work.Overall, the house itself was clean, spacious in terms of bedrooms and bathrooms, and accurately represented in those respects. Our biggest concern was simply that the beach access was considerably more difficult than we expected, and I think that should be made much clearer in the listing.

The house was very nice and comfortable. We struggled for about 15 minutes to initially enter the house because the code had not yet been sent to us. It took a couple of phones call to reach the correct person. Once that person was contacted, we got an immediate response. The initial phone number listed goes to a call center, and the response is delayed. The hot tub was not functional for a few days, but they sent out a tech who repaired it. The location is great. The rooms and kitchen are nice. The bedroom closet space is limited. We’d stay here again.
