They were great hosts making sure we had everything we needed and making us feel right at home. They go the extra mile to make sure your stay with them is fantastic. I will absolutely stay with them again the next time I find myself in Maui. Such a magical part of my stay.

This was our third stay at the cottage and the worst part is leaving. The cottage is such a beautiful escape. The grounds are amazing. Coming from south Louisiana and having the opportunity to stay in a secluded cottage in a rain forest botanical garden with the most amazing view of the Pacific Ocean just seems magical. And then to have a most welcoming cat ambassador for the stay. Host Michael and Terry are extremely accommodating. This truly is paradise!

The cottage is very private with beautiful views, tropical plants, and lovely hosts. One of our favorite and romantic stays. The cottage has a full kitchen with s supply of condiments and a washer dryer. There is a full indoor bath but the outside shower surrounded by tropical jungle is an exhilarating experience.

Karen & Paul were perfect guests and two days was not enough. All four of us had a lot to share and we hope they will return next year for another conversation and stay.

Great view! We loved "cat" he made us far less homesick for ours! We loved loved loved the art all over the cottage! We so appreciated Terry's walk through the cottage and information helping us with directions and local information. The farm fresh eggs for breakfast were heavenly! The only advice or insight I would give others is that there are mosquitoes on this jungle side of the island so make use of the bug sprays and swatters Terry provides. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it as a great launch point for exploring Hana!

The cottage was very lovely and exactly as pictured. There were actually many unexpected things available to us (spices, coffee, mineral sunscreen, beach chairs, beach towels, etc) along with 4 fresh eggs/daily! Terry and Michael responded immediately to any questions we had. The cottage was clean and cozy, just like home. I was wishing we had booked another night because the time went by so fast.

Terry & Michael are wonderful hosts. The gardens and view are stunning. The ocean breezes, relaxing. Sleeping was easy.Entabeni needs a good cleaning. The surfaces need to be wiped down regularly at a bare minimum. It needs a deep cleaning and then regular maintenance. I know there is a cleaning fee in the rental price. It has definitely not been cleaned in a long time. Maybe update the interior without losing the quaint vibe.

Terry and Michael's cottage in the garden was beyond what we expected. Nestled amongst the lush tropical plants on the hill side. To the amazing ocean view.The check in was very personable and accommodating. The location was super peaceful, and the cottage had all you needed to feel comfortable and at home.It was a great stay during our trip to Hana.Would definitely recommend to all travelers.

We loved staying at the cottage! It was so nice to be back -- we stayed there many years ago on our honeymoon. The cottage is private and has a beautiful view. The property is truly a gem, full of incredible, gorgeous flowers and trees. And the host is lovely, too, with wonderful stories and suggestions. We highly recommend staying here.

Secluded and private with spectacular view of the ocean from high on a mountain within a jungle. Hosts were super kind and helpful. It was not the cleanest place we have stayed in, but not the worst. Bed was two twins together to make the king.This is an absolute, must experience place. Setting cannot be beat.

Second visit to this amazing place. It allows me to connect with the world around me and to find peace with no distractions. The views are unreal and just taking them in is a spiritual experience. Terry and Michael are awesome, and the fresh eggs they bring are the worlds finest. Bring some groceries, and if you want a quiet, relaxing getaway in paradise, you are set! We stayed while the storm was passing through, I believe this was the only place on the road to Hana which had power and water as they are self suffiecient. The gardens were gorgeous and Michael and Terry were very good hosts. The location was exactly as described in the listing.
