Large waterside fire pit, mossy yard overlooking Fightingtown (riverish) Creek, tucked away-no neighborhood, nobody across creek, private getaway with large lodge style cabin only 10 mins from downtown Blue Ridge. Pets welcome with a $107 pet fee per pet, with approval prior to check in.

Lovely=this lodge: updated cabin, 3 floors, w/Fin bsmt containing 4th bdrm, rec rm, wood stove, laundry, full bathroom.

Nice but Needs Improvements

We booked this cabin for a short weekend get away with family. There was 6 of us and it would be cramped had more ppl came. There were small things that didn’t work. The door knob came off to the basement door, the lock didn’t work on the basements bathroom, the lock on the upstairs bathroom was hard to lock, so, just small annoyances. The cabin could have been a little cleaner as well. On our next to last night, the heat went out. Woke up to a freezing cabin. I contacted the Owner and she was quick to get a repairman out, who stated the heating unit was VERY old and couldn’t be repaired and would need an entire new unit. The owner had him bring space heaters for each bedroom. She stated we could stay or she would pay for a nearby hotel for us to stay at. We chose to stay since we did have the wood burning fire place downstairs. Overall it was ok, just needs a few improvements. Probably wouldn’t stay at this particular cabin again though.

Why they chose this property

We loved the cabin's proximity to the creek, which current building codes no longer allow. There is a beautiful shallow waterfall, in view from the house. There is plenty of room to roam and a private feeling at this home.

What makes this property unique

Close to Blue Ridge, wineries, and all the N GA activities. Tennessee is only about 15-20 mins down the road with more cute towns to explore as well. Ellijay is 30 mins south, with tons to do there as well.
