Set on the slopes of Koko Kai, this spacious, two-story, family-style home offers panoramic ocean views and breathtaking sunset over Diamond Head. Decorated with a touch of island decor, this villa is perfect for indoor/outdoor living. The large full kitchen, two living room areas, and large lanais provide plenty of room for families and friends to relax.
Enjoy a swim in the private, solar-heated swimming pool after a day at the beach. Watch all the water activities at Maunalua Bay. And if you're lucky, you may spot a few whales during their season.
The magical night lights which grace the nearby hillside, with the moon and stars, totally change Hale Ohana's ambiance.
Nearby beaches include Portlock (five minutes away), and Hanauma Bay and Sandy Beach (both about five to eight minutes away). Hale Ohana offers the best of both worlds: privacy, great family accommodations -- and, of course, convenience with Waikiki only 20 minutes away. Hawaii Kai offers great entertainment and dining, lots of shopping, close by beaches.

7 night minimum over any major holiday and 12 night over Christmas. Our home has several stairs: Front Driveway Approx. 9 stairs up to first landing, than another 4 stairs to front door.
All 3+ bedroom rooms are located upstairs, Approx. 4 stairs to first landing, than another 4 stairs to 2nd landing, than another 4 stairs to top level. We do have a double futon bed downstairs in the living room area.

This house was simply incredible! It sits up on a hill with a pool and gorgeous views of the ocean and Diamond Head. The house was modern, spacious and very well-appointed. The host had plenty of beach towels and sunscreen available, and also welcomed us with a pineapple and macadamia nuts and macadamia chocolates. There was plenty of room for 10-12 guests, for sleeping, eating, lounging in the living room or sitting out on the deck, which overlooks the pool and has an awesome view of the ocean. The master bedroom and living room even had their own air conditioners. We will definitely come back to this house for any future visits to Oahu!

Wish they had Ac throughout the house! They had some AC units in the master bedroom and the living room but not the other bedrooms. That is my only complaint. Everything else was wonderful!

Aloha Shannen, the owners like to leave sliding doors and windows when they are in residence and don't use a/c much this is why only the 2 window ac units. If there were more ac units of course rates would have to go up. Mahalo for being our guests.

Host was welcoming and accommodating. The location was ideal to get into the City of Travel the Southern tip of the island to Sea Life Park and up the Eastern Coast line. House was in great shape and very clean. I would highly recommend staying that this location. The views are incredible from the porches.

Great location and even better views. Swimming pool was a huge hit after a long day of being out and about. Lots to do in the immediate area. Nice that this is 15 minutes or so from Honolulu and Waikiki Beach. We had a great time and would rent this property again!

Family Vacation

Great location with a great view. Close to many restaurants and shops. Loved being close to Koko, beaches, and diamondhead. Kids enjoyed the pool. Great stay.

Absolutely amazing stay

Great property to stay at on Oahu. Had to get used to the driveway going up to the property but once you master that you’re in heaven. All I can say is “the views”. Everywhere in the house had views that makes you want to just relax at the house and soak in those views. Wonderful location one direction you’re in Waikiki in a few minutes and the other direction you’re in true Hawaiian scenic views.

An incredible stay!

We loved our time here! The house is the perfect layout for our extended family and we made so many unforgettable memories together here. The pool is amazing, the location and view are outstanding, Eva is so responsive and helpful! After ten days we are still not ready to leave! Thank you so much!!

Great property!

This property was wonderful. Amazing views and perfect location. This house was very well appointed and perfect for my family of 5 and mother-in-law. Owner was super pleasant and helpful. Would recommend to anyone. Very memorable vacation!

Great Place

The property was clean and as shown on the online photo’s. I have stayed at many places but Eva is by far the best host ever. She communicated with us whenever we had questions and she was quick to take care of anything we needed. We will stay again!

Piece of Paradise

From the moment we walked up the stairs to the front door, the view was breathtaking. Our family enjoyed the pool almost everyday, and waking up to picture perfect ocean views every morning. The house was more than accommodating for our family of seven, Eva made sure we felt right at home. Looking forward to staying here for our next visit in the near future. Views

This property has the best views of Hawaii Kai. Great location to boot. Koko Head trail, Blow Hole, and Sandy Beach. Close to a Leonard's is a plus. Waikiki and Ala Moana are close by if you like that type of vibe. Also close to Makapu'u Point, Sea Life Park, and Waimanalo Beach.

Amazing house/location!

This place has an amazing view of the ocean and surrounding area. Very interesting view of Koko head’s trail, you can see the entire length of it! The house is very clean, and the pool is nice. The hosts also had excellent communication and we all enjoyed our stay very much. Definitely would recommend.
