Very relaxing stay! Very clean and had everything we needed. Our dog, Bella was comfortable as well. Would recommend staying here, very close to restaurants, shops on the Parkeay, and downtown Blowing Rock! Great location. We will be back!

Perfect little cottage

This place is even cuter than the pictures! We had everything we needed and there were so many extra little touches that made the stay amazing. My 16 yo and 6 yo loved it!

Quiet respite

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this quiet setting while attending to many wedding activities for our son’s wedding. This was the perfect location to get away from all of the hustle and bustle during the week.

R & R in Blowing Rock

Couldn’t ask for a more cozy, quiet and relaxing place to stay. It’s location is close to shopping and yet away far e ought to feel the mountain effect. It was wonderful to use the hot tub at night and sleep in peace afterward.. We can’t wait to come back next year..

Great secluded mountain cabin 1 mile from Blowing Rock.

Cozy mountain getaway in great condition. 1 mile to Blowing Rock. Gas fireplace. Very clean. Comfortable king-size bed in master. Hot tub on a private deck.

Great Mountain Experience

Grapevine Cottage is a genuine mountain cottage, not a spec builder's 2020 reproduction. It is cozy and well furnished. The owner has done an incredible job of adding modern conveniences such as Jacuzzi bathtub, outdoor hot tub, dishwasher, microwave, etc. without detracting from the cozy cottage ambience. The weather was terrible, so we spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace watching TV, playing board games, or reading. It was very relaxing and peaceful. There were starter supplies for toiletries, dishwasher soap and other necessities. I had a question for the owner, and she responded immediately and was extremely accommodating regarding my request. Grapevine Cottage was the perfect little cabin for our getaway.

Cottage was as advertised.

Well decorated inside. Comfortable. Driveway was washed-out on one side making it difficult to navigate. Roads leading to cottage are all gravel/sand and affected by rain.

Cute cottage

Overall a very nice stay. Well stocked with everything we needed. Disappointed in dirty outdoor furniture(could not use). Also, the cottage needs more lighting(too dark). This is out of your control, but we feel we should say there was a nearby cabin occupant/owner who lets their dog wander off leash and it spent quite a bit of time outside our cottage to do its business. We enjoyed our stay and felt very relaxed with all the amenities. Thank you.

Pictures don’t do it any justice

Cute get away just a couple miles from Blowing Rock. Property is really nice and feels like home. Hot tub and patio lights were perfect for relaxing. Beds were very cozy as I passed out immediately. Firewood and fixings to make smores was a nice touch! Food Lion was close by. Caution if you are driving a low profile sports car. The gravel road and driveway were not passable for me.

Blowing Rock

The Kitchen was well equipped ,, first time to eat off of plastic dishes. To each his own.. The living room couch and recliner has seen many better days. Consequently we watched the coronation sitting at the table. Outside furniture also old. Bedroom was fine as well as bathroom. For our next trip to the area we will book as we have done before using a site that is rental by owner.. Not VRBO We never spoke to any property manager.
