Beautifully furnished, well-appointed town home situated one block off of Elk Avenue (downtown’s main street). You can go right out the front door on to shop, grab a coffee at Camp 4 Coffee or slice of pizza at the Stash, catch the free mountain bus up to the ski area, head to the river for fly fishing or kayaking, or walk/bus to numerous trail heads for hiking/snowshoeing or mountain biking. House sleeps 9 (3 in the bunk bed room with the trundle underneath which is better for kids).

Amazing location and great property

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were all comfy, the kitchen was really well stocked, the property manager was very responsive and helpful and the location was A. You can walk anywhere in Crested Butte from here. It is an awesome spot.

location location location! truly couldn't be in a better spot - just steps away from the main street of downtown crested butte. the pictures do not do the inside of the house justice - its SO charming and cozy! 10/10 recommend and would stay again!

Great Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed at vacation at this house in Crested Butte. You can walk right from the townhouse to main street to go shopping, have dinner or just to have some ice cream. We will be back

Perfect location!

Great place for our family. We had seven of us and all fit comfortably in the space. The side patio is a nice area to lounge and read and has a fire pit. Couldn’t be closer to where the action is in beautiful Crested Butte! Highly recommend 👏

Perfect location!

Beautiful home in perfect location to enjoy downtown Crested Butte. You can park your car and walk to everything in downtown. Home was exactly as described and even better in person. We will definitely stay here again! Host was easy to contact with great communication!

Ski trip with friends

The house was perfectly located to town. We walked to dinner every night. The town shuttle is two blocks away. The owners/management were accessible and helpful. The house was the perfect size for our group of 9. We loved it. Thank you.

We had such a wonderful week at The Happy Place! The location couldn't be better. The house was very clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for our group of 8. We would definitely stay here again!

Location location location!

We loved the walkability of this house to everything in town. Could not be happier with that! Small hiccups we encountered were the water heater being turned off and being supplied the wrong lockbox code to enter the house. These were remedied and the trip was great!

We had a lovely time in Crested Butte! The house was perfect for a ski weekend for two families of three - clean, comfortable, and perfectly located in town and close to the ski shuttle. Would highly recommend!

My wife is a marketing consultant and I am a physician from Pittsburgh.We spent many years vacationing in various Western mountain towns with our two sons.As the years went on, we began to entertain the idea of owning home in one of these places,but none felt quite right.After spending literally 5 minutes in Crested Butte, we knew that we had found our “happy place”.We were taken by the quaintness, charm, striking beauty of the town;the friendliness, acceptance and warmth of everyone that we met;the overall laid back feeling;the incredible number and variety of activities in every season for all levels of ability ;the wonderful assortment of restaurants,coffee shops,stores,arts/music community...the list is ever expanding .We eventually bought this home and would one day like to retire here,but in the meantime would like to share our home with you.We, along with our local host,guest experience and property manager Apryl,will do whatever it takes to ensure that your stay is wonderful and unforgettable.This is truly a magical place and we hope that you will agree!
