About this property

Beautiful 3 bdrm 3 story townhome at Eagles Nest, where the views are the best in Crested Butte! 2 private decks, hottub, sauna. This is a wonderful townhome on the public busroute to the slopes or within walking distance to the ski lift. The shuttle stop is just in front and goes strait to the base. Walking takes about 10 minutes. In winter please use a 4 wheel drive!! The driveway is a bit steep, and tho it is plowed regularly, sometimes the snow comes down in buckets! 2 cars permitted: private garage for one car, plus parking for 1 car in front - no trailers.

1,191 square feet! King in master bdrm, queen bed plus a single pullout in the second bdrm, and a queen in 3rd bdrm. All new and high end. Queen pullout in living room. Sleeps 7 comfortably.
One car garage and space for one other car in the lot in front. All amenities - washer, dryer, fully equipped large kitchen, dining area, free fast wifi, large flatscreen tv in living room with cable and... amazing views! Bus to ski slopes stops right nearby - you can walk over overpass. Watch TV and enjoy the views at the same time!

This townhome is about privacy, space, views in all direction, and quiet. You are up on the mountain with a real birds' eye view of the whole valley, with no busy streets anywhere close. The jacuzzi is at the entrance end of the complex. Really an experience.
For the Bus Schedule google the “columbine” bus route for mt crested butte – the free shuttle! Takes you strait to the base area. From there you can go to the town of Crested Butte as well.

Comfy and clean

Great place to stay and watch the New Years Eve fireworks! All the beds were very comfortable (wish I had checked the brand before I left). There was a check in hiccup and the property manager answered my call immediately and remedied the situation. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Great condo, amazing views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and it fit our family of 6 perfectly. It had all the amenities that we needed and more and was well stocked. We were told we were in crested butte the hottest week of the year so the condo would get a little warm sometimes especially the loft room. But with the fans that were provided and windows open at night it would cool down. The patios and views were our favorite part of this condo! Loved having our morning coffee on the patio. Crested Butte was amazing and would stay here again.

Great getaway!

Great condo and a perfect getaway! It was spacious enough for my family of four. We enjoyed skiing and soaked in the hot tub one evening. We would stay here again.

Great townhome with lovely views

We had a great stay. Comfy beds, beautiful view of the mountain, nice kitchen and hot tub. We personally wouldn't want to walk back up the hill after skiing all day, but there is a free shuttle and a lot of other people hiked up just fine. Would stay here again.

The Barnes family owns this townhome - they are Okies who have enjoyed vacationing in Crested Butte for over 20 years. The property manager has been renting properties in Crested Butte for 15 years. This is a beautiful, quiet, spacious community with views that are about 300 degrees around. two private decks to enjoy them and huge windows. The shuttle to the slopes stops in front! a real find and a great place to enjoy your family. Full kitchen, washer and dryer!

Why they chose this property

This is a unique townhome complex perched on a hillside that faces the majestic Mount Crested Butte. It's location provides unobstructed 180 degree views of the area. Each unit has a private garage with a laundry room. There is one entrance, stairway, and hall that accesses just two units each, which makes Eagles Nest a very quiet community. As the snowfall builds winter, be aware of the steep driveway to the units. We recommend a four wheel drive vehicle to manage the elements. While the complex has a reliable snow removal crew, patience is required during major winter storms.

What makes this property unique

This townhome is a short walk or drive to the ski base area. Mount Crested Butte is a quaint town in itself where you will find a small general store, liquor store, dining, and entertainment. There is easy access to shuttle buses to take you to the town of Crested Butte where you will find even more fine dining and shopping. Summertime provides another season of outdoor recreation with immediate access to hiking and biking trails.
