2375 Shipwatch is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom oceanside villa on the third floor of Shipwatch Villas in Kiawah Island’s West Beach neighborhood. This Shipwatch villa is beautifully updated with partial ocean views and direct access from the building to the beach!

This oceanside villa is well-appointed with lovely, updated furnishings and all new vinyl tile throughout. The open plan living area features comfy seating, a flat screen TV, a dining area for your guests and a fresh, fully-equipped kitchen.

2375 Shipwatch comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests in 2 bedrooms. The relaxing master is equipped with a king bed, flat screen TV, private bath and direct access to the private deck & balcony with peeks of the ocean and wildlife! The nautically-themed guest bedroom includes 2 queen beds, a flat screen TV, a private bath and access to a shared balcony overlooking the dunes and ocean beyond.

Shipwatch Villas are luxury rentals located on the beach in the heart of West Beach Village. West Beach Village is located nearest to Kiawah Island’s main gate and is situated around the Cougar Point Golf Course and Clubhouse. West Beach is Kiawah’s oldest neighborhood with meandering boardwalks, mature maritime forests and a charming, Lowcountry island vibe. There are laundry facilities available on each floor and an elevator in the building for guest convenience.

You’re an easy walk to the beach, a bike ride away from Freshfields Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, Night Heron Park and Kiawah Island’s world-class golf courses and tennis, and a short 40-minute drive to historic downtown Charleston.

Pool Access: Please note this property has NO resort pool access.

Beach Access: Enjoy beach access directly from the building via Boardwalks 5 and 6.

Pet Policy: This property does not allow pets.

Parking: There is parking for up to 2 cars.

Check-in instructions will be sent via email at least 10 days prior to check-in once the Rental Agreement is signed. If your stay is within 9 days, or lesser, from the time of booking, the instructions will be sent via email as soon as the Rental Agreement is signed.

Clean condo, nicely decorated…would have preferred standard chairs instead of all high top as in dining room and balcony. Otherwise it’s a wonderful vacation spot and all our needs were answered.

Kiawah Exclusives made check in easy and had great communication. This was the first time we didn’t use the resort or a standard hotel and they made it easy. The condo was clean and the kitchen nicely appointed. Great location for my work conference. Easy walk to the beach. Condo had books, etc for our use and a good cable package.

Relaxing get away

My son and daughter and I enjoyed a fabulous week at this property. It is so excellent staying on the ocean being able to be yards from the beach. The weather was a little cool, but we enjoyed the day. We enjoyed the cycling taking walks on the beach, and also all the other amenities that are offered on Kiawah Island. Would like to come back in the future.

They cancelled our stay due to construction and moved us to a place with no ocean view. The place was nice but not clean in some areas. We live Kiawah and will return but probably to a different location.

Great location - upstairs neighbor noises unbearable

Great condo, location and beach decor however the unit above us had the most absurd sound system or was listening to music or TV at full blast until 1130pm at night which was pretty unbearable especially since we were trying to enjoy the natural beauty and sounds of Kiawah. We wound stay at Shipwatch again but not in that unit.

Had a wonderful time

We had a wonderful time. Property was clean and location was great. It was a short few minute walk to the beach. The beds were comfy. I will say that the property was lacking a few start items that are typically provided. There was no hand soap in either bathroom, there was no sponge or item to clean dishes, the dish soap was extremely watered down, and there was not an adequate amount of dish washer detergent. These were all very, very minor inconveniences and did not affect the quality of our trip. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice Visit

We have stayed in this complex (different units) before. Pluses: West Beach location. Easy close beach access.This unit has partial ocean view from end of living room and adjacent balcony.Unit is a bit cluttered, however, I applaud the owners decorative acumen as everything is interesting and even educational.Good beds and pillows.Cons:Was fine for two of us, however would be a bit small for party of fourBathrooms were fine, however a bit dated.In this building, there is no washer and dryer in the unit. You do have availability on each floor however this can be a bit of a hassle.Supplies were a bit spotty, ( no tissues in empty Kleenex box holders, no soap or shampoo in one of the baths), fridge light nonfunctional.Early check out 10am - no delay allowed.I’m just being honest/critical. The fact is you will have a wonderful time at Kiawah Island if you are lucky enough to have this or a similar unit. Communication with managing group was excellent. We had a great time and would rent again.
