Stonecreek Cottage: Beautifully Renovated Home w/ Patio | Walkable to Downtown

Escape to Highlands, NC for a rejuvenating stay at this charming 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage! Nestled in nature and offering a laid-back ambiance inside and out, this beautiful relaxing cottage promises a time with at-home comforts and outdoor adventures.  Spend the day hiking the Nantahala National Forest, chase waterfalls down the Cullasaja River, or take a short walk to Mirror Lake to lounge by the water.  When the sun sets, come back to this fabulous retreat and kick back by the fireplace with a good movie and a great glass of wine, next to the ones you love. Both bedrooms feature King-sized beds.

Twice as much room and thought was invested in the outdoor space behind the home, with a large stone patio and plenty of places to relax in the cool mountain air. A gas grill, dining table and lounge chairs around a firebowl sit here, with stone steps leading either up into the stone firepit terrace or down to the creek that runs alongside the home. Stonecreek Cottage...the place you'll call home.

[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy (effective for bookings confirmed after April 1, 2024) is outlined below:
For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.
