5 Stars – Perfect for Three Generations!We had an excellent stay! Three generations of our family enjoyed boating, fishing, swimming, barbecuing, and relaxing in the hot tub. The home had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and spend time together. The kitchen was well-appointed and made group meals easy. Weekend at the lake

Our weekend with friends was excellent! The views of the lake and the pool area are gorgeous and the house had lots of room. Well maintained and lovely home with unbelievable views of the lake, both sunrise and sunsets are amazing!! We very much enjoyed our stay.

We came up with all my kids and grandkids for a long weekend and everyone had a blast! Our host Steve made everything easy for us from check in to check out and we tried to make something’s easier for him too by bringing our own towels and all the kids had sleeping bags. Absolutely beautiful but bring bug spray!

The home is perfectly as described and could not have been more relaxing. The view is beyond dreamy. Two things to note - bring mosquito spray and the entrance to the lake was very "swampy" (lots of algae), so we ended up mostly only using the pool which was just fine by us!

Amazing find and stay!

We loved everything about this property—caught a 4.5lb bass from the backyard, took our family photos on the dock, swam in the amazing pool, and never felt a need to leave the house. My boyfriend and our kids, my best friends and their families, there was room for everyone! Perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Steve, the owner, was very responsive and friendly. We can’t wait to come back!

Lake Time!

A lovely property right on the lake with excellent backyard amenities. Lots of cozy areas to gather as a group both inside and outside. Gorgeous lake views--think sitting with a hot cuppa in the quiet early mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We had a great time!

Wonderful Family Trip

My family of 10 people (adults and kids) had a wonderful stay at this property. Steve was great to work with, the pool and hot tub were wonderful, and the house was so spacious. The upstairs loft was a perfect place for all the kids - they had their own space but it was within earshot of the adults. The only downside was that the dock wasn’t usable due to the lake being too low - but that is due to the drought, not the fault of the homeowners! Overall - great stay and we would recommend to others.

Family trip

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood - we throughly enjoyed our stay! From catfishing, swimming, soaking up the sun & soaking in the hot tub to sitting by the fire pit, BBQing or simply watching various birds and enjoying all of the beauty nature has to offer at the lake. When the wind picked up or got too warm - my mom (91) could still enjoy the view from the living room through the big windows. Our host Steve, was very responsive & very kind - We look forward to coming back!!

Amazing family getaway

We had an incredible week visiting Clearlake with our teens. Our daughter rarely left the pool. Our son caught a big catfish right from the backyard! And we all enjoyed the jaccuzzi and firepit. We brought kayaks and enjoyed paddling in the calm waters. The kitchen is well stocked ... has all the basics plus lots of spices! The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. And there is plenty of space upstairs for the teens to have their own space. The view really is as beautiful as you see in the pictures! We had a great time and hope to return again next summer!

Annual Family Vacation

We've been coming to Clearlake since 1979. This is the first time we had to use a VRBO.This property exceeded all of our expectations. The house was big, clean and comfortable. It offers various activities for all ages.. swimming, game boards, corn hole, s'mores(fire pit), tv, and then some. The house is stocked with everything you'd need...towels, sheets, pots/pans, keurig machine, first aid, and so much more. Steve, the host, was kind and easy to work with. He answered all my questions in a timely manner. We would absolutely stay here again. This house helped to make or trip unforgettable.

Had a great time!

We just loved the view and the spent a lot of time in the back yard area enjoying the pool and the Jacuzzi. Steve was very helpful giving the lay of the land and giving us ideas about what to do and where to eat during our stay. The beds were comfortable and the house was very well stocked. We were three people over 60 so we didn’t use the up stairs much, but would be great for a couple of families with kids. I fished right off the dock and did well with some bass. My mom is ninety and she could maneuver easily around the bottom floor of the house and outside. We BBQd on a Weber grill and made some cocktails with the blender provided. The pool was very clean and the Jacuzzi was just wonderful. I would recommend a stay!

Why they chose this property

Welcome to the largest natural lake in California. Super safe, great walking/biking area with open space. You may spot rabbits, pheasants, Osprey, grey cranes, grebe, ducks, and even a bald eagle on your walk around the area. There are also frogs, crawdads, turtles, and fish. Please treat the home as your own! We bought it to stay and play and to share with you. This is a family-friendly home in a family-friendly neighborhood so no loud parties or late-night activity is allowed.
This is a NO smoking NO pet property.
Getting around
There is plenty of shopping including Safeway and Starbucks, and great restaurants right in town. Try "O'meara Brothers" for local beer and great food. Or, "Kelsey Creek Brewing" for a small local brewer that you must try! As far as wine tasting goes this house is perfectly located to hit all the award-winning "can't miss" sites. Just a short boat ride to a "free" Friday night concert in the park in the summer, and a couple of the best "On the Water" restaurants. "Park Place" has a big outdoor seating with a view of the like. If you need a boat, I can give you boat rental referrals if you ask! Wakeboard, ski, tube, fish, or patio boat, we got you covered! If you need fishing guides or equipment just ask. This is the "Bass Capital of the West". The local casino and marina are just a 5-minute drive for everything you may desire.

Just 5 miles from Starbucks/Safeway and a multitude of shopping eating, antiquing, and museums. The natural black bottom swimming pool is on the lake's edge, perfect in the summer cooling off playing and enjoying cold beverages. The warm hot tub/spa is a retreat both in the winter and the summer as well. Bring some firewood for the outdoor firepit and enjoy good family and friends. Time to make some memories.
