Quiet neighborhood, pretty surroundings. House is beautifully decorated and has everything you need! We loved the board games, having full sized washer & dryer was so helpful. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen amenities. Minor issue with smoke alarms chirping but that was resolved quickly by thr responsive management. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is great! Exactly how the listing shows. Easy check in, cute neighborhood, house had anything you may need. It is max 15 minutes from anything you are interested in, so it has less traffic and not as expensive. Would definitely recommend this property.

Really attractive and very clean home-comfortable, well stocked, great layout for family. We loved the screened in porch and the games/local travel books. Location was great for us as we were exploring several areas in and around Asheville, house has good access to many areas while avoiding city traffic. Had a couple minor repairs needed and management company was attentive to reply, courteous and took care of the requests quickly. Really nice place to be away from home! Would stay here again!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We look forward to hosting you again, soon!
We rented this property over the Thanksgiving holiday to be housed close to family who did not have enough bedroom space for all of their invited guests. It is a bright, newer property in a tidy neighborhood close to Hwy 74. The property was very clean and well equipped for cooking although we did not cook there on our stay. The MBR bed was very comfortable. While this was not our circumstance, the MBR was well set up for person with physical limitations as was the rest of the house. The gas logs worked very well. We did not use the convenient screened porch as "feel like" temperatures were around 20 degrees Fahrenheit during our stay. We did notice some amount of road noise from nearby Hwy 74 but it was not a major issue for us and did not negatively impact our stay. We would consider renting here again next time we return to the Fairview area.

Inspired Getaway
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Birds Nest. The house was clean and well laid out for a family use. The screened-in porch was very nice for relaxing in the evenings. The only complaint we had was that the kitchen is very sparsely furnished - there are no measuring cups/spoons, no baking sheets, etc. - which made it tough to cook even basics like oatmeal or reheat leftovers in the oven. But otherwise it was a nice house. We even had two bear sightings in our short visit, which added a little excitement!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Bird's Nest. We were visiting some relatives in Fairview for Christmas, and this cottage was just five minutes away from our family. It was super clean, very spacious, and outfitted very well. Plenty of fluffy towels and warm blankets. The beds were very comfortable.
It is located just off a main road in a little neighborhood that may be made up of other vacation rentals. All of the houses in this little enclave were very charming and we never heard a peep from any other neighbors or the road. There is a little coffee shop within walking distance just down the hill.
At the time of our visit, the Asheville area experienced a power outage (that only affected us for a couple hours), and the owners/managers checked in on us to make sure were were okay and were warm enough. They were easy to stay in contact with.
We would absolutely stay here again.

So happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay (and the nearby coffee shop!!) We look forward to hosting you again, soon!
Nice property, very clean and nice amenities. Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and there is an Ingles market close as well.
The neighborhood is very quiet, and the nearby highway noise wasn't a problem at night.
Would definitely book again in the future.
