One owner is in search of the prefect cappuccino. The other is a holistic body-work practitioner and an exercise trainer. We can provide our clients with these services.

Why Owner chose Kailua Kona
We fell in love with the house and property the moment we saw it 7 years ago. Yes, the view of Kona and the coastline is the best that we saw in our two years of house hunting. But what struck us was the sense of serenity and calm this property and location afforded us. We immediately felt that we were 'home'. Part of the appeal to us also was the location right in the midst of the Kona Coffee Belt and the fact that the property had been a working coffee estate.
What makes this Estate unique
All of the pieces by themselves are incredible: the incredible view from every window, the infinity edge solar heated salt water pool, the hot tub, the holistic fitness center, a completely green solar electric powered house, the two acres in award winning coffee, the sights and sounds of the country, the fresh air. Put them all together and you have a true luxury estate to relax in - when you are not too busy exploring all that the Big Island has to offer! Our location right in the midst of the Kona Coffee Belt and the fact that the property is a working coffee farm sets us apart from many other vacation rentals. We have just added a roasting shack and now can roast coffee in-house in a custom made artisanal drum coffee roaster. We can offer to our guests our own private label 100% Kona Estate Certified Coffee grown and roasted right here on the property. We supply the finest coffee making equipment in the unit to compliment our award winning coffee.

The home owners were very nice. They let us stay for a couple extra hours after checkout for the time of our flight. Very helpful
We had an incredible week at Kona View. Our property owners, Randy and Atsumi, were wonderful and the time spent roasting our coffee beans was educational and interesting. The location, while up the side of the volcano, provided great access to everywhere on the island, without feeling crowded like some places in Hawaii. While the weather was a little rainy during our stay, we had a great adventure: finding green, black and white sand beaches, hiking volcanoes, stargazing, dining at a luau, and helicoptering the north Kohala coast.
This home is magical!! With the infinity pool & the views from each room, we ended up staying for two weeks.
The house has everything that you would ever need. It felt like home to us. It has an overly loaded kitchen, all the beach towels/toys, chairs, snorkeling gears, wet shoes/nail polish remover, EVERYTHING that you'll need. House is super clean! More bath towels then you'll ever need! They provide laundry detergent and dry sheets too! A large cooler with ice packs. Wash and dryer. Grill. Nice new refrig. Cleaning products, tanning lotions, we’ve never stayed in a house that is fully loaded to where you didn’t have to go to Walmart to pick things up. This makes the vacation a very enjoyable experience. With the house being so high up, the house is always cool, therefore you don’t need an AC. We arrived with a complimentary 100% Kona coffee and the next day at 7am, the owner Randy made us a fresh pot of coffee. It’s the best coffee I’ve ever had! After Randy showed us the coffee tour, we ended up buying a bag of coffee for all of our friends/family. We really like having them live next door. You never see them or hear them but yet, their always there when you need anything. At first the idea of living next to the owners, sounded odd to me but I have to say, we really like having them next door. They feel more like family than just the owners of the house. My kids/husband love this house. We feel that the house made a big part of our Hawaii experience. I would rate this a 10star!!! if such thing lol
While it was a tad awkward having neighbors, and the occasional gecko would watch you from the ceiling, the property and views were amazing! The manager was very nice and the coffee they make is perfection. The pool is to die for!
Yes, we do have geckos and the house is visible from the road above us. That vantage point looks down at the house and roof. None of the neighbors (all 5 whom we know well) have any kind of direct view into the house. Our property sits on land that is very steep so the closest neighbors are far above or below us (3 acre zoning here). The bedroom, kitchen, living room, pool and lanai face away from the road and look out into air and the town down below. While everyone’s sense of privacy is different - most guests that have stayed here felt perfectly comfortable with the privacy that our setup allows - even with us living next door. All windows and doors have blinds.
Endless Views & Endless Relaxation
We just spent 10 wonderful days at Kona View Estate and couldn't have been happier. Randy and Atsumi are amazing hosts!! It was so nice having them available to us on property but at the same time, you would never know that they are there, as they are quiet and it felt like we had the entire property to ourselves. The property is beautiful and we had a fun and really interesting coffee farm tour with them including an opportunity to watch a roast! Their coffee is to die for....so definitely buy some extra. On our first day, Randy delivered fresh brewed coffee at 7am to our door and on the second day, Atsumi brought us a bunch of fresh bananas!! The home itself is spotless and has everything that you could possibly need. The kitchen is well set up and it was great having a washer and dryer as well as all the beach gear you could want (chairs, umbrellas, masks, fins, snorkels, etc.). The home itself, the property, the hosts were all amazing but the piece de resistance is the infinity pool and large deck space!! Three deck side loungers, a full table for six plus two additional chairs and side tables and of course, floaties for the pool! This made it hard to adventure out but we did.....and had incredible experiences diving with the manta rays, summiting Mauna Kea, hiking Waipio Valley, seeing Volcano National Park, and shopping the Saturday market in Hilo. Don't miss any of it and definitely stay with Randy and Atsumi!!! No doubt, we shall return!!
Great Feel, Excellent Coffee, Beautiful Views
This was a perfect location for us (two couples). The views are memorizing and the hosts made us feel at home the moment we arrived. We prepared most meals at the house, so along with the well equipped kitchen and barbeque we enjoyed our evening meals with one of the best sunsets available on the Kona coast. Then the nights were filled with countless stars as the milky way passed overhead. We watched as owners Randy and Atsumi roasted our coffee from their award winning coffee estate.
Our property has two acres in coffee and we are in the heart of the Kona Coffee Belt just 2 1/2 miles from the artistic community of Holualoa.
