Crystal Cove Condominiums is located on the east end of St. Thomas on Sapphire Beach which is one of the nicest beaches on the island. D-27 is a ground floor condo 100 steps from the sand. Walk right off the sand into the sapphire blue, crystal clear water and enjoy incredible snorkeling where you will see every tropical fish imaginable, turtles, and all sorts of marine life. Or, if you want to just relax and enjoy the views and the sound of the ocean waves, the beach attendant will make sure you are comfortable and provide you with a comfortable lounge chair.

The condo is 1000 square feet, one bedroom with a king size pillow top mattress bed, queen size Murphy bed and full size futon in the living room, 2 full baths, and a completely stocked kitchen. The unit is comfortable with nice furnishings, central air and ceiling fans.

There is so much to do when you arrive, but you will have a hard time leaving the beautiful beach. You can take a ferry or take your car on the barge to St. John, go shopping at Charlotte Amalie's huge duty free shopping area, go to the on-site marina and go sailing, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, kayaking, parasailing, and jet skiing. You can also take day excursions to the British Virgin Islands, Tortola, and Virgin Gorda. If you want to golf, Mahogany Run Golf Course is just 15 minutes away.

All conveniences are within a five minute drive or taxi ride. There are open air taxis for $2.00 that stop regularly outside the complex that will take you to Red Hook where there is a grocery store, restaurants, shopping and bars. If you rent a car, there is parking right at the back door of the condo. We can arrange for cab service to and from the airport if needed.

About Brent Dall

We are Brent and Claudia Dall from Salt Lake City, Utah. We visited St. Thomas and St. John in 2008 and absolutely fell in love with the place. Six months later, we bought our condo at Crystal Cove resort. We were so impressed with the beach and location of Crystal Cove resort, that it was a simple decision to make this our vacation home. We love the four seasons that Utah has to offer, but we also love going to a tropical paradise like St. Thomas.

We looked at several condominium resorts on the island and decided on Crystal Cove at Sapphire Beach (also known as Sapphire Bay West) because of the beautiful beach that has better snorkeling conditions than the other resorts, how close the condo's are to the beach, and how close you are to Red Hook Marina and shopping center. The complex is close to anything you would want to do on the island. When you come here and become familiar with the area, you will want to come back every year.

We will be glad to spend time on the phone or e-mail making sure that you are prepared when you arrive and help you plan activities using our knowledge of the island. Notes:
There is a safe in the hall closet to store your valuables, etc. in, ironing board in unit, hair dryers in each bathroom, housekeeping service. There are two lighted tennis courts, complimentary chaise lounges with beach attendant 7 days a week. Board games, books, stereo, in condo. Gated entrance, 24 hour security on site. Norma will pick up groceries and have them in the condo when you arrive for a fee of $25.00 if you don't want to stop at the store on your way to the condo from the airport. We can arrange for cab service from and back to the airport if you choose not to rent a car.

Great Location, secure, well maintained property

Great place for a couple or family, king bed, Murphy bed, and pull-out couch if needed, gated community, well maintained property. Owner was very helpful. Sapphire Beach is one of the best to snorkel, easy access to transportation to nearby Red Hook and St. John.

Beach Heaven!

Brent is the best host ever! We stayed at four different places through VRBO during our 12 day stay and by far his place is the best hands down! The place is huge, extremely clean and of course right on the beach. We snorkelled and saw sting rays, lots of coral and beautiful fish. It's great to have Norma on site to help with anything, but overall we are so impressed with Brent and how attentive and caring he is. It was our first time to St Thomas and he cared enough to take the time to talk to me on the phone prior to our stay and to fill me in with all one needs to know. He has so much valuable information to provide. Such an amazing guy! And his place couldn't be better, we can't wait to come back and stay longer!!

Awesome Experience Start to Finish

We just spent 4 nights in this condo and had a great experience. The owner, Brent, answered all my detailed questions and provided me with his own best advice for all there is to experience in this area of St. Thomas. The condo is very clean, well organized and the furnishings are current. The kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed (including spices, Pam, olive oil, etc) for cooking. Three especially important facts: 1.) the AC works very well 2.) the ice maker makes large amounts of ice and 3.) the beds are very comfortable. This unit is less than a minute's walk to the beach, with an attendant to set up your chairs for the million dollar view, right on the water. And, Norma is there to make sure all is well in the condo. The price makes this an even better deal. Thanks Brent - we loved our time in your piece of paradise!

Fantastic!

This property was a perfect fit for our family. The layout worked very well for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 small kids), and it accommodated everyone. The property/building is older, but it is extremely well maintained. The pool is clean and beach attendants are wonderful. The cleaning lady who comes by is such a sweetheart and our family just loved her.

The owner was very responsive and incredibly helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed and understood all the little nuances of St. Thomas. He checked in with us prior to leaving and made sure that all of our questions were answered.

Overall, I would highly recommend this property (and St. Thomas) to anyone looking to book a vacation.

Perfect rental for first trip to St Thomas

We had a lovely stay at Brent's condo! Everything was comfortable and very well equipped. The space is good sized, even a bit bigger than it looks in the photos. The condo was very quiet, and the beach was never too busy during our stay in early March. We especially enjoyed the proximity to Sapphire Beach, just a walk across the lawn. Air conditioning worked great. The washer & dryer was a nice feature so we could wash towels, etc. We made breakfast most days, so having all the essentials (oil, salt, spices, pots & pans) was helpful.

Norma came by twice during our stay to check in. At Norma's recommendation, we filled the cooler bag in the condo with frozen water bottles to keep our sandwiches cool for our day trip to St John.

It was our first trip to St Thomas, and we already decided that if we come back, we would love to stay at Brent's place again!

Side note: The condo is 30-40 minutes from the airport. We were glad we booked a rental car for our 5-day trip, and parking at the condo was easy and convenient. The car allowed us to get to Red Hook, grocery store, Charlotte Amalie, and St John (car ferry) without any hassles.

The Best Hospitality & Home Away Experience!

So it took me long enough to write about my amazing time staying at this condo. I grew up in the hospitality business, my mom has been a GM of a full service hotel most of my life, and to add on top, my father was huge about hosting large events and hosting people. I am the queen of making you feel at home, but the price paid for being pruned to host is you hardly ever feel like you get the same in return. I want to say it was fate that brought me here because for the first time in my life I stopped stressing out about anything. The condo was clean, it had everything you could think of (toilet paper, pans, dishes, towels, beach chairs, etc.). I can also guarantee that it wasn't just USVI's beauty that was helping me unwind because we ended up staying at a different condo for four days following our few day stay here, and that place (though pricier) was dirty, badly maintained and cared for, cramped, and felt like it had gone through some really bad abuse. My stress level peaked once I left the relaxing atmosphere of this condo. Also, when Norma who helps maintain the apartment came by to meet us, she sat down and talked with us like we were old friends. I even lost my necklace somewhere there after I left, and was kind enough after talking to the owner to go by and look for it so she could take it to me after. All around a perfect score for this condo, the owners, and Norma! <3
