The photos don't do the mountain view justice! There's a well-stocked kitchen, squeaky clean upon arrival and a cozy atomsphere. Plenty of directions to help with navigating the property. Quick and thorough communication from the owner. Looking forward to another stay in the future!
Peaceful log cabin with beautiful views of Sugarbush. Rob’s communications about the booking were excellent. We will be back.
The house was comfortable, clean and attractive. We would not hesitate to stay there again if we ever return to the area.
Another great stay!
Campobello is simply the perfect Vermont getaway. Rob is super helpful with local recommendations and is a gracious host. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful cabin in the woods
We had a wonderful stay at Campobello. The house is roomy and very comfortable. Decorated just like a mountain cabin with an amazing view of the mountains. Swimming holes abound in Warren and Waitsfield so you don’t need to travel far for a day swimming in cool clean mountain water and lying on large boulders in the sun to relax. There are many cool places to eat, we especially love Mad Taco ....the best tacos ever. Visiting Mad River Valley is a must. The cabin is well stocked with everything you will need and relaxing on the large deck was also a treat. I thank the owners for such a beautiful place to stay for a week.....although I could have stayed much longer. Highly recommend.
Burlington, Stowe, and Montpelier are easy drives and boast great shopping, dining, and other activities. Coming in winter? Let us know and we'll see if the horse-drawn sleighs are open for business -- but be sure to have a 4WD or all-wheel drive car to handle that Vermont snow! Our driveway is frequently plowed, but underlying ice can always be dicey.

About Rob Levin
Neither one of us is from New England. Rebecca is an Atlanta native and international flight attendant, and Rob is a small-town North Carolina native and owns a book publishing company near Atlanta. They have a daughter who graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute near Boston and is a robotics engineer in the Silicon Valley, CA. Still living at home are two cats and a dog, and a horse just down the road. Rob & Rebecca, Covington, GA
Rob Levin purchased this Cabin in 2000
Why Rob Levin chose Mad River Valley
We built this home in 2000 after owning a much-smaller log cabin in the Rocky Mountains, but over the years, getting there became a major proposition. We love Vermont because of its beauty in all seasons and its myriad villages, each one more bucolic than the one before it. We can get here in five hours from Georgia and know that we're a world away. The Mad River Valley was actually recommended to us by a friend in Colorado (a well-known ski writer), as well as a French native who owns a French restaurant in the Mad River Valley. Rebecca (who is fluent in French) met him while working a flight from Paris. We came here and didn't look anywhere else.
What makes this Cabin unique
Rebecca loves working in the yard and riding her neighbors' horses. Rob, a former newspaper reporter, simply enjoys tooling down to the Warren Store in the morning to get pastries and the New York Times and sit outside by the river that runs right by the store. We both enjoy the Saturday farmer's market in Waitsfield, pizza with friends at American Flatbread, and a beer with chips and salsa on the deck at sunset. With the wireless DSL, Rob can keep up with work while relaxing on any of three decks, or sometimes takes the laptop into one of the many coffee shops in the nearby villages.
