About this property

We are so excited to welcome you to the place we lovingly call The Darn River House. It has been our perfect escape from the pressures and heat of the city, and we are so excited to share it with you.

We hope you are able to quickly settle in and take a deep breath of the crisp mountain air. Sit back with your fishing pole right out front on our private pad on the river or take a quick trip up the road to experience all Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park has to offer.

Please note: this property does not have a BBQ grill due to county restrictions. Additionally, we have security cameras at all entrances (exterior only, no interior cameras or recording devices). Keep in mind this is our second home, so we want to be able to monitor entrances when we are not expecting guests. During scheduled stays, notifications are disabled.

Very comfortable and great location

Our family of 3 adults had a wonderful Thanksgiving week-end. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and had plenty of room. We loved the mountain right behind the cabin and the river in front. It was convenient to our activities in Estes Park. We have made about 6 trips there in the last year and a half and this was one of the best places that we stayed.

Beautiful View, Dark Night Skies, Elks roam the street

This cabin is lovely. There is a rushing river right in front of property. Stars at night are beautiful and plentiful. Lots of room downstairs. Both bedrooms are large. Both bedrooms are also upstairs. The smaller bedroom is up a half flight. The larger bedroom with a private bath is up a full length irregular staircase. It also has a very tall bed. If you are mobility impaired, could be an issue. Very close to Estes Park.

Just What We Needed

We have rented places several times - this was our most enjoyable stay. The owners thought of everything which allowed us to simply relax and enjoy our stay. We would stay here again.

Outstanding home

Jordan was so easy to work with. The property was the best “air bib” type rental I have ever stayed at. The amenities were all they were advertised as and extremely clean and comfortable. I hope to return again in the future. My son and I had a great stay
