The house was perfect and well stocked! The location was perfect for getting to Ashville and we loved how close it was to hiking trails. Would stay again.
We loved the cabin's location near the Blue Ridge Parkway and connecting us to downtown. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds pretty comfortable. Our only issue was when it got cold (dropped down to around 14 Fahrenheit), the cabin was not well-insulated and impossible to thoroughly heat. Warm upstairs (although drafty single pane windows) but couldn't get the bathroom and main floor very warm. Would be great in most seasons though!

Thank you for the review. I wish you would have shared the temperature issues. Following this review, we had the mini split system serviced as it was not operating correctly. This issue has now been resolved so you should be nice a toasty if you return.
The blue cottage was a great getaway for my family of four (kids ages 7 and 9). They loved gathering sticks for the campfire, and my husband and I loved the proximity to the Mountain to Sea hike, downtown Asheville, and various breweries (especially Highland and Whistle Hop). Washer and dryer were appreciated after some damp days. The property is beautiful and the cottage well-equipped. I’ve shared the listing with several friends, and we plan to return ourselves! Angel was very responsive and answered any questions I had. Checkout was a breeze.
