We had a fantastic stay here! Wonderful host and a wonderful home.
Great base for enjoying the Traverse City and Leelanau area
Very comfortable home with fascinating décor and a spectacular view of the lake. Great beds, sofa bed was good as well for the teenager. Kitchen is fine for a cooking vacationer's needs. Everything we wanted to do was conveniently close. Owner was helpful and we would happily return to this property.
It was very artsy and unique. I loved it
When i first walked in i wasnt sure if im going to love it. As soon as i opened the next door , my jaw dropped. Im a very artistic person and there was art EVERYWHERE. All kinds of paintings, carvings, stones, rugs, guitars, wood. It was just beautiful . I loved the big window in thr living room, i had my cat with me so she loved that too. The place was super clean, i was planning on cleaning up before i settle in and it was so clean that i didnt have to. Im very impressed. The owner was supposed to come by but i was bummed he didnt since the whole group wanted to meet him since the place was super different and artsy. We were all wondering if hes an artist himself. Ive been to alot of cabins/cottages and i have to say this isnt your typical cottage. I took alot of pictures of the walls and the different art and photos he had. It definitely made the experience one of a kind. Will deff rebook in the future.
Close enough to TC, but far enough out of town to get away from the crowds! Excellent bay view!
Older cottage with open concept, pretty outdoor gardens. Small but full kitchen with everything you need (for a party of 4). A little close to the noise of M22, but that's how you get an amazing view of the bay!!!
Wine tasting in many local wineries, 2 nearby casinos, Traverse City Film Festival, National Cherry Festival, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, hiking/bicycle path, river canoeing & tubing, trout fishing, kite boarding, tall ship sailing, follow this link '2011’s most beautiful place in America'
