The Space:
LOCATION:
Private cabin on 2 acres of land with hot tub, fire pit, back deck with a view of the mountains, and romantic back deck lighting. The cabin is conveniently located five minutes from the highway for driving to and from Ellijay, Blue Ridge, and the surrounding area.

OUTDOOR LIVING:
Hot tub, outdoor chairs, corn hole set, fire pit, romantic porch lights, propane grill for BBQs

INDOORS:
Flat-screen Smart TVs, games, faux electric fireplace, beautiful floors, high-speed Wifi.

KITCHEN / DINING:
Refrigerator, stove/oven, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, pots and pans, and coffee maker. The dining room table is a fantastic place for eating meals together, playing cards, and playing board games. The wifi is very fast and is great for remote work, Zoom calls, etc. The 2 mini splits (AC/heater combos) heat/cool the entire cabin.

PARKING:
Free outdoor parking (4+ vehicles)

Guest Access:
Guests will have the entire cabin to themselves! It's truly a great place to relax and enjoy the mountains.

The road is well-kept by the HOA and is easily accessible by 2-wheel drive vehicles.

Other Things to Note:
The cabin is in the woods on a beautiful hillside. You will likely see and hear critters. We hire pest professionals to minimize bugs in the home, but again, the cabin is located in the woods.

The 1 bathroom in the cabin is attached to the bedroom with the queen bunk beds.

Since we're so conveniently located, there may be some light noise from the road from time to time.

No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.

The TV is a Roku Smart TV. You can sign into any service you’d like, but there aren’t any services provided.

Absolutely no fires outside of the designated outdoor firepit! Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $100 plus damages.

This cabin uses a septic system. Please do not flush anything besides septic-safe toilet paper down the toilet. Failure to adhere to this rule will incur a fee.

We generally provide hand soap, a starter roll of septic-safe toilet paper in the bathroom, and paper towels. Be prepared to bring your own soaps (laundry, dish, bathroom), shampoos, conditioners, toiletries, condiments, zip locks, charcoal, wood logs, and coffee :)

Interaction with Guests:
You can always message me if there are any emergencies, but I hope you don’t feel like you need to! I want you to fully enjoy your vacation, relax, and experience the beauty that Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and the mountains have to offer.

An amazing stay at Mountain View Chalet!

This hidden gem was just what my partner and I needed over the holiday weekend. Chase was very responsive and the cabin was very nicely remodeled compared to some of the other cabins in the area. I highly recommend this stay if you're looking for some time away from the city.

Loved our peaceful stay at the cabin! Enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, grill, and mountain view! We cooked just about all of our meals during our 6 night stay and had everything we needed to make a variety of meals. The bed in the main bedroom was super comfy and we enjoyed the roku TV during some rainy days. Super close to Ellijay and we visited the Cartecay Brewery, Cohutta Overlook and Pinhoti Trail, BJ Reece Orchards, and Amicalola Falls…allwithin a 30ish minute drive or less. 2WD vehicle was totally fine driving up to the cabin. Definitely a nice, peaceful mountain getaway! Chase was very responsive and made sure everything went well for us! Highly recommend!

Chase and Michelle, thank you so much for hosting us at your cabin. Upon arrival we were very pleased with the cleanliness and the overall condition of the cabin and the proximity to Ellijay. We were there on a house hunt and the location of the cabin was ideal for that. I am happy to say we found a house that we are making an offer on, and we are hopefully moving to the Ellijay area in the near future. Great location to visit Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Close to hiking. Full kitchen! Plenty of sleeping/sitting room. Hot tub needed a little cleaning. We did vacuum when we first arrived from whoever was there previously but overall a good stay once we got settled.

We had a great time, house seemed new and all appliances/grill/hot tub worked without issue. Noise at night from having to run the individual AC units was a little loud, did not have mountain view given full vegetation of the summer. Had a nice time walking around the area with the kids and enjoyed the privacy.

Relaxing getaway

The cabin is perfectly isolated, offering complete privacy with no other houses or cabins in sight, yet it’s just a short drive from downtown Ellijay, making it conveniently located. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, and the BBQ and deck provided everything we needed for outdoor dining and relaxation. The deck, in particular, offered a great view and a serene atmosphere. Overall, this property provided the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. This location is amazing - This cabin is perfectly located between Blue Ridge and Ellijay so the options for activities are endless. Our balcony provides a tremendous view of the valley and the adjoining mountains. The views from the cabin are truly amazing and, frankly, that's why we decided to purchase it. We love sitting on the back deck for sunset and sunrise. We also love the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit for roasting marshmallows and looking up at the stars. It's a great place to relax and "get away from it all". We love this cabin and know that you will too!

What makes this property unique

The location is unbeatable. The cabin is located close enough to the main highway that it's easy to get to and from Ellijay, Blue Ridge, and the surrounding area. With our property being on a sizable hill, we have a beautiful view of the area from our back deck. It makes grilling on the back deck a fun event with others. We also have a Hot Tub and a fire pit in an open space for you to enjoy under the stars.
