Welcome to The Wee House OGT - Our Happy Place!

The Wee House is our cozy spot for enjoying all there is to offer here at the beautiful place by the sea that is Ogunquit.

Location, location, location! The BEST part of The Wee House is it's location. We are a five-minute walk to Footbridge Beach, one of the most gorgeous beaches on the East Coast. People walk from miles away to spend the day at Footbridge, whereas you'll be on the soft sand in minutes. You can kayak and paddleboard on the Ogunquit River, which is just before the footbridge, or you can head straight for the waves at Footbridge Beach. You can even walk to Downton OGT and Ogunquit Beach from our beach in just 10-15 minutes!

The house is open concept with windows on all sides to let the sunshine in! You enter into the living area which has a TV with streaming services (using your login), a pull-out Queen sleeper sofa, side chairs, and an expandable table for dining and working. You'll find plenty of blankets and pillows to cuddle up with on rainy days or nights for watching movies in.

The living area opens to the fully-stocked kitchen that also includes a dishwasher, stove and fridge. Other kitchen amenities are listed in the amenities section. The bedroom features a queen sized bed, armoire for clothing and other items. Adjacent to the kitchen is the full bath with shower.

Outside you will find a grill and small deck to enjoy a cocktail and lobsters from down the street at Plum Island Lobsters or wherever you want to grab your fresh seafood! There are, however, so many dining and imbibing options in OGT you may find yourself not using the kitchen too much. In the basement, you will find beach chairs, a cooler, wagon and other beach-related niceties. The basement also has a washer and dryer for your use.

Parking is a premium in OGT so we are lucky to have 2 off-street parking spaces directly in front of the house on the gravel drive. If you're like us, you won't need to drive much as there is so much to do, eat, and drink within walking distance of our house. In fact, there are 4 restaurants/bars less than a 5-minute walk from the house. And, if you take the 15 minute walk to Downtown on Route 1, you'll hit more restaurants and bars before you hit the mecca that is Downtown. Our Welcome Booklet will give you all the details!

Come enjoy this magical place and we can assure you you'll want to come again and again!

Please note - we do not allow pets but when we stay at our house, we bring our dog. We make every effort to remove traces of him from the house but we want people to be aware that there has been a pet in the house.

Had a wonderful week at the Wee House. Ocean St has long been my family’s favorite place to stay in Ogunquit and this little cottage is bright and clean and inviting. Had everything we needed plus lots of extra beach equipment provided which was really helpful!

Adorable, cozy cottage. A short walk to Foot Bridge Beach, with provided cart, chairs, and umbrella. Restaurants within walking distance; take the Ogunquit trolley to the village - walk back on the beach; and Congdon’s Doughnuts only a short drive away.

Great Stay, Amazing Location

The perfect location in Ogunquit - steps to Footbridge Beach, on the Trolley Route, and great restaurants right around the corner. The house was great for our small family. The space is open, and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect as we could shoot right home from the beach if the kids got tired, or jump on the Trolley into town or Perkins cove for some food and ice cream. All around an amazing spot!!!

Walk to the beach and great food choices!

We loved our stay and had such a great time! The Foothills beach was amazing and being able to walk there was a home run! The house was great and had everything we needed. The homeowners left an easy to follow detailed book on procedures and everything you could have wanted to know about the town of Ogunquit and surrounding towns! Great place if you want to beach it everyday!

Wee house Huge Success

The Wee House was a huge success! It was clean and well appointed. Perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants and the ocean. Also on the trolley line so no need to hunt for parking.

We absolutely loved our stay at the "Wee House!" It's a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. Nisha and Mark thought of absolutely everything to make us feel at home. It was perfect.

The perfect place!

The little house is within a 6 minute walk to Footbridge Beach and so close to several restaurants. Perfect location. The house itself is clean, lots of light comes in and everything inside was purchased with thought and consideration and quality. The sofa bed was super comfortable as well as the bed. We stayed with our two young children and they loved the house as well. We would love to come stay here again!

A lovely family vacation !

We had a wonderful time at the wee house ! It was our first time traveling with our 11 month old and the house was perfect. Plenty of space for a family to enjoy with positively everything you could need in the home. It is a mile from downtown which we enjoyed daily and the short walk to the beach was absolutely perfect ! The owners were lovely to communicate with and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this cute house !

The place was perfect size everything I forgot to bring was there. It was very clean. And cozy. Location was great 5 min from beach and the downtown area. We had a great time and I’m hoping to make it annual. The host were great and answered all my questions promptly. It was a fabulous 4 days

Wonderful stay at the Wee House

The Wee House is the perfect little cozy cottage for a couple or small family. It was well equipped, we had everything we needed for our 5 days stay and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. The location is really great, small walk from the beach, which is great as it allows to avoid parking fee at the beach. There are great restaurants in the near vicinity (we particularly enjoyed the Beach Fire Grill and the Hooks). Special mention also to the tide clock! We absolutely recommend this place! Wee House visit

Our family of four (7&5yo daughters) loved our visit!! Small but cozy home for our visit to Ogunquit, we had a short stroll to footbridge beach and a quick drive (little legs get tired quickly) to Ogunquit center for a stroll and excellent eating opinion but there are several dining options just a short walk from the house. We didn't need to bring a thing for the beach as our host had chairs, umbrellas, towels and beach toys for use and a wagon to haul it all! We loved the house and it's location, thanks for sharing it!

June ‘24 at the Wee Cottage

Husband and I truly enjoyed our stay! Walked to the beach several times, also walked to restaurants, which is great since it’s something we can’t do at home! Footbridge Beach - I’m at a loss for words - it is beautiful and heavenly. Peaceful and friendly neighborhood. We spent time on the deck reading and eating. We had 10/10 weather all days we were there. Really enjoyed the show at the Ogunquit Theatre which exceeded our expectations. Close enough to stores and even found the nicest service man for our car. (Luckily a minor problem). Love the keyless entry and air conditioning was more than adequate. Kitchen was nicely appointed. We were sad to leave but hope to be back again.

We absolutely love our neighborhood. It is quiet and provides the only direct access to Footbridge Beach. Many of our neighbors are lifetime residents with whom we've established relationships, so we hope and expect that our guests will respect our neighbors and their peace!

What makes this property unique

The location - you can't get a better location in OGT than Ocean Street. It's far enough away from the downtown craziness that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of Ogunquit, while still being close enough to enjoy with just a few minutes walk!
