Creekhaven cabin, waterfront property, is the perfect place to stay for your next vacation! Secluded and surrounded by nature, guests will wake up to the babbling creek with views from all bedrooms, enjoy an afternoon walk through the adjoining nature preserve or mountain bike through over 12 miles of biking & hiking trails, fish in the stocked Fightingtown Creek, have a family picnic under the trees, and sit around the outdoor fire pit under the stars. The cabin has all modern amenities, including WiFi and three smart tv’s - the outdoor tv on the screened porch is great for those who enjoy watching sports or movies while grilling. There is also plenty of indoor and outdoor games for the entire family!
UPDATE TO PROPERTY as of OCTOBER 2023: New Nordic Hot tub is available for guests to enjoy at the cabin. Hot tub is located on the back deck with the perfect view of the creek and the forest!
All three bedrooms provide a peaceful night’s rest with quality bedding and thoughtful designs for a comfortable space that you won’t want to leave. The owner’s suite with en suite bathroom on the main level, features a king bed and garden tub. The two bedrooms upstairs have one queen, one double, and a bunk bed. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a full-sized tub/shower combo. The couch pulls out into a queen bed with a foam mattress, to accommodate 1-2 additional guests. The half bath, located near the main living space, has an attached laundry room that is available for use during your stay.
The indoor living space has plenty of common household items to make your visit a home away from home, including kitchen cookware, basic oils and spices, and a coffee and tea station. The outdoor living space boasts a large 10-seater picnic table, 6-burner stainless steel grill, 2 creekside fire pits, a 2-person swing, and additional dining and seating on the screened porch.
Just a short 12 minute drive will put you in downtown Blue Ridge. While downtown, take a trip on the historic Blue Ridge Scenic Railway through the Blue Ridge mountains. Downtown has many amazing restaurants, both casual and upscale, for all tastes. The many shops, boutiques, and antique stores provide a variety of shopping options. Blue Ridge is known for its vibrant arts scene, including a great community theater and the opportunity to support local artists in the many art galleries downtown.
The area boasts many apple orchards, craft breweries, and wineries, including the award winning Mercier Orchards, named one of the top ten apple orchards in the US. For those who want some rest and relaxation, take advantage of the many day spa options both downtown and nearby. Serenity in the Mountains offers massage therapy and various wellness services, including the only salt cave in North Georgia.
Nature lovers will enjoy the vast beauty and the many adventures the area has to offer. Situated within the Chattahoochee National Forest, hikers explore the many trails, including the Appalachian Trail and the Benton MacKaye Trail, and several beautiful waterfalls. The Ocoee River and Toccoa River offers canoeing, kayaking, rafting, tubing, and trout fishing. Lake Blue Ridge rents kayaks, paddle boards, and pontoons.

Check-out instructions are in the house manual. *corrections from what is in the manual are included here:
1) *please make sure all items are in a trash bag before placing it in the trashcan. There is no recycling at the cabin so any loose items need to be placed in a trashbag, including boxes, etc.
2) *please leave all used bedding/beds unmade, but do not worry about stripping the sheets or putting in washer.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
