Host was really friendly over email. Cabin was well stocked with kitchen pots and pans and utensils. They provided toilet paper and toiletries. I would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It's very clean, well organized, and it was very quiet. We felt very cozy, and it was a short drive to hiking trails and to town. Thanks for a lovely stay.
The cabin was very clean and the perfect size for a single person or small family. I was in town for a bike race and it was conveniently located near the race start and other area biking trails. Would definitely stay here again if in the Hendersonville/Dupont Forest area.
This was a great place to stay - I especially enjoyed the cabin’s location & peaceful natural surroundings. it was the perfect space to just unwind & enjoy a quiet week of relaxation. The kitchen & bathroom were both well-appointed with modern amenities. I specifically took advantage of the huge smart TV in the living room area to binge-watch Landman.Master bedroom mattress was comfortable, & everything else was more than satisfactory. The in-wall propane heater was handy for warming the place up when I arrived in a 12-degree night, but then the tank ran out prematurely - not a deal breaker by any means though.David was very responsive in answering all of my initial 20 questions about the property. I def. appreciated his patience in that process.Overall a fantastic space which I look forward to visiting again!
We couldn’t have asked for a better place, the cabin was beautiful and a great location…peaceful!!!! Our host was great, we had an emergency in the family and they let me change my dates with no hesitation. My wife and I stayed for a week and hated having to leave. Would definitely recommend this cabin!!!
Immaculate condition, and even better than the pictures appear! Right at the foot of dupont, and a short hop over to Pisgah. Really enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely be back to stay at this cabin again!
This was my second time staying at this property and it is lovely — if you’re interested, I’d recommend booking. That said, I was let down by the communication with the owner this time around. The water to this cabin runs on a well and was having issues during our Thanksgiving stay. I understand these things happen, but I would have appreciated better communication from the owners around what was going on and if/how it would be resolved. I believe I’ve reviewed this cabin before and given in 5 stars… the only reason I’m not doing that again is, unfortunately, only due to communication leaving something to be desired.
Quiet and secluded location and a great little home base for our stay. It had everything we needed. On the downside: The drive way (actually the last bit of road) isn’t paved and is a bit rutted. The ice maker in the fridge is noisy since it’s not surrounded by cabinets so it woke me up several times during the night. Guess we could’ve turned it off for the night. Oh well.
