Stay in the heart of Downtown Asheville in the beautiful 55 South Market building! Located just steps from the vibrant South Slope and Biltmore Avenue, this one-bedroom unit was built in 2018 and features designer furnishings, work by local artists, and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The unit has a king-sized bed in the bedroom along with a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room. The spacious bathroom has a double vanity and large shower to accommodate multiple guests. There's also a washer/dryer if you need to freshen up your wardrobe while you're here!
The 55 South Market building is a residential condo development completed in 2018. The first two levels are reserved for short-term guests, and the upper floors are all owner-occupied or rented long-term. Modern and luxurious, the eco-friendly condos feature 10' ceilings, smart home technology, and beautifully chosen finishes. The 70-unit building also offers guests an expansive indoor/outdoor community area with fire table seating, gaming area, and grilling station.
Shortly before your arrival date, you will receive codes for the parking garage, exterior/interior building doors, and the condo door. We'll also be around to assist should you run into any issues!

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and well appointed with amenities. Location was great with our planned visit. We were able to walk to a great tavern for dinners in the evening just 5 minutes away. Thank you to our host, would definitely recommend and stay again should we return to Asheville.
This was my second stay in this unit and knew that it would be perfect for our needs. It was clean, well stocked, quiet, secure, and in a great location. We parked the car when we arrived and was in walking distance to everywhere we needed to go including shops, restaurants, and a nearby grocery store. I would stay here again.
Host was easy to contact and helpful. Love this condo and location to downtown! & It’s great to have a place with parking included. The pull out couch wasn’t very comfortable so my kids preferred our air mattress instead - but there was plenty of room for it. We would stay here again.
10ft ceilings, contemporary decor, creature comforts, downtown location and host hospitality and communication on point. Would definitely stay here again. Five stars!
This condo was a great to stay for a week on Asheville. Easily walkable to many bars and restaurants. Quiet, safe, clean condo. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend this condo to others!
This place was perfect for a girls getaway. We walked everywhere. Very clean and we felt safe with all the doors being locked up and access by Bluetooth on your phone. Highly recommend!
What a great place in an ideal location with exceptional service from the property manager Lauren. The condo was very well equipped with personal touches like local art and information on nearby places to visit. It was walkable to several restaurants, breweries, and shops. There was an ample selection of bedding (extra pillows and blankets) and fluffy lap blankets for the couch and plenty of towels. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Asheville, we didn’t really use the kitchen, but it seemed well equipped. Lauren was truly outstanding in her communication as I had misunderstood where we were to park, and she was so patient and helping us to get in and settled. Truly a wonderful experience and stay!
We have stayed in this building before and had higher expectations. The unit we were in was definitely on the cheap side..plastic wood, shoddy doors, plastic handles, cheap furnishings, etc. But, the bigger problem was the need to install an app to get access...c'mon for a one night stay. And, our effort to minimize odors in housecleaning was a fail. Nice host but we'll look elsewhere next time.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This unit uses the same Bluetooth access system as all the other units in the building. We tried to honor the guest’s request to use unscented cleaning products, but it was a last-minute booking with guests checking out hours prior to this guest’s arrival. I told the guest we would do our best but that I couldn’t make any promises. We aired out for several hours and did not use our usual products other than windex for glass and mirrors. As far as furnishings go, this unit was furnished almost exclusively from Mobilia which is a high-end furniture store here in Asheville. The “plastic” barstools he is referring to are that way for sanitary and cleaning reasons. The rest of the finishes are identical to the other units in the building - and I manage several.
