Our oceanfront Poipu Ground Floor Apartment for Two is 20 feet to the sea and overlooks a sea turtle spot in Poipu Kauai: Tropical trade winds, sunrises, sound of the surf, starry nights.

**No cleaning fee** Weekly maid service is provided free of charge for a two-week stay or longer.

Our Main Floor Apartment features a custom-tiled oceanfront lanai (deck) and outdoor dining for four, an oceanfront living and dining area with comfortable furnishings, a new split air conditioning system, tasteful works of art, HD Smart TV with HBO and music channels, WIFI, a Bose Wave Radio, and a well-stocked kitchen featuring a propane cooktop, oven and All Clad cookware.

The private bedroom features a split air conditioning system, a Simmons Beautyrest King Bed, and fine linens. There is a private outdoor shower off the bedroom. You will find beach towels and a back-up set of bed linens in the air-conditioned bedroom.

The lovely bathroom features a tub/shower combo, a high boy toilet, and lots of bath towels.

You will enjoy cool tropical breezes throughout our Main Floor Apartment for Two. Washer, dryer, and quiet ceiling fans throughout.

Parking is conveniently provided and the oceanfront property is gated. There is a lovely private garden dining area complete with a Weber Gas Grill between the privacy gate and the cottage. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella too.

Our oceanfront gated property is located on a quiet lane in a private vacation home area, near white sand beaches, snorkel and surf spots, restaurants and grocery stores.

NEW - Free access to air conditioned Strength Studio Kauai gym in nearby Koloa Town. 30 minutes workouts: Vasper systems, ARX, Carol bikes.

Incredible Location

You are able to see the sea turtles from your lanai, very close to a shopping center with several places to eat, and pretty central on the island. Poipu beach and Shipwreck beach were both great spots to visit. The wrong address was listed, but they said they are working on fixing that. The pictures are accurate, great view of the ocean as well!

This was our 2nd visit to the neighborhood in 6 months. The cottage was perfect for our needs: comfortable bed, parking just outside the garden gate, and easy access to shops, dining, and Baby Beach. Very best part: watching the amazing sea turtles swim into the cove and relax on the rocks below our patio. We were at the cottage for a 2-week stay. The kitchen provided us with another level of convenience. We appreciated having a washer/dryer, beach chairs, cooler, and air conditioning. Mahalo…to Lori and team!

This isn’t just a rental property, it’s a home. I can’t think of one negative aspect of my stay and it’s hard to pick top highlights. Definitely the outdoor shower was a treat. Otherwise all of our travelling needs seemed to have been anticipated. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and dishes. Air conditioners worked perfectly. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Simply said, it was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay and truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience Kauai. The home is beautifully maintained, well-appointed, and tucked into a quiet street that made it easy to relax and settle in. It felt clear that the hosts put real thought into making guests feel comfortable and welcome.Having all the beach gear readily available was such a bonus and made our beach days effortless. The host was also incredibly responsive when a minor issue came up, which we really appreciated—it was handled quickly and with care.One of the absolute highlights was sitting on the lanai and watching turtles swim by below. It was magical and something we’ll never forget. While we could occasionally hear guests in the upper unit walking around, it was never a problem for us and didn’t detract from our experience at all.This was the kind of place that makes you immediately start planning a return trip. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a peaceful, well-cared-for place in Kauai.

I am so glad we found this place. It has a unique charm to it versus all the condo listings we saw. Amazing lanai view of the water and a little inlet with tons of turtles. Amenities were great. AC was cool, kitchen was great, everything was clean. We stopped at costco in Lihue and did some cooking. The perfect place if you are looking for something on the south side. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Minutes from Koloa and Poipu. We loved it.

Green Sea Turtles!

Not everyday you can wake up, walk onto the back patio and watch endangered green sea turtles lounging in a cove. Really amazing - we counted 13 at one point. Magical location.The house was really comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a great farmer's market (on Saturday) just blocks away. The outdoor shower was super. For those interested, there is a clean, newer walking mall with restaurants, ice cream and shopping within a short walk. For those wanting a more local feel, Koloa is less than 2 miles away - recommend the Mucho Aloha Brewhouse. There are also numerous food trucks, mainly stationed in Kaloa, for affordable meals.

The property was exactly as described. The problem was the guests that were staying above us. The constant walking back and forth was VERY distracting and bothersome. They left after a week, only to be replaced by 2 more people who stomped across the floor at all hours of the day and well after midnight. Then after they left, the painter showed up to "get the place ready for more guest's". So we had him walking back and forth working. We never got to have a quiet moment for the 3 weeks we were staying there. We paid a high price to be annoyed on our vacation. Oh, and don't forget the landscaper who showed up with his kids on our lanai on our last full day of our stay. So, although the cottage was beautiful, we were inconvenienced by rude and loud upstairs neighbors the entire time!!

The views were awesome. Location was great. Email with instructions was a little late arriving day of arrival. Needed a couple things and host provided those timely. Host was kind and friendly. Noise from studio above was pretty noticeable. They weren't being overly loud or jumping around, just not very sound proof. The house had most things a person would want. No welcome gift, which was a VRBO first, but not promised either. Easy walk to Baby Beach which was nice. Saw a seal and whales there. Turtles daily. Good, not great stay. Kind of spendy for 1 bed. Bed was pretty firm, which is what some people prefer.
