This is a beautiful property, right in the water. Very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening watching the sailboats and birds on the pond. We very much enjoyed our stay and meeting our lovely hostess.
A beautiful spot overlooking Round Pond Harbor. The deck is a wonderful spot for viewing the activity of the harbor and a perfect location for stargazing. This a great location and is close to lots of local hikes.
Had a lovely stay at this classic Round Pond cottage by the harbor. Amazing views, truly peaceful and relaxing. Thank you to our hosts for being so welcoming!
The view from the deck of this this house is magnificent. The deck is a wonderful place to relax, eat, read, or whatever. Very comfortable. It was a treat to be welcomed with delicious bread and a bottle of wine. It is a great area, close to many wonderful walking trails and more wonderful views.
Great spot..beautiful view of the water.
House spotless...lots of comfortable sitting in living room. Nice size kitchen and dining table..
Bedrooms roomy and comfortable. Easy drive to Boothbay and Rockland.. Enjoyed our stay at this house..would stay again. Owner very accommodating..very friendly with great tips on local restaurants and thing to do. P.S. bring your own bathroom towels.
The house is at the end of a dead end road with a lovely view of the water and a porch where one can sit and enjoy it. Inside, the house is quite old fashioned but the owner -- who couldn't have been nicer (she even welcomed us with a bottle of wine and homemade treats!) -- seems to be in the process of updating it and kept everything immaculate in the process. Conveniently located about 1/2 mile from Round Pond Coffee and Granite Hall, this house is one we would stay in again.
Having quiet morning and ending our day with the view is just what we wanted - and it lived up. Quiet area, plenty of room to stay comfortably. Our only surprise and struggle was we were told to limit water use. We did stagger and seemed okay - the water had a strong sulfur smell. Some drinking was supplied. I feel this should have been stated up front. I know this is a new renter - please just be upfront about water, no dishwasher, no towels supplied ( although did graciously provide some because we didn’t know this when arrived) and other limits - I didn’t see a sauna. Although washer in unit, not allowed to use it. The stay was comfortable, priced low enough to accommodate the limits- and a view that makes it all worth it !

Along the Maine coast, especially in the summer months, the water table drops some, but it’s fine for staggered, and not lengthy showers.
I am from Vassalboro, ME originally and I live nearby in Bremen. I enjoy hosting guests at my oceanfront home as we get to meet people from all walks of life.
Why they chose this property
Harbor Edge has an idyllic setting in a quaint old New England fishing town. The harbor is full of all types of boats in summer. The views off the deck of Moscungus Bay are what I enjoy most about Harbor Edge.
What makes this property unique
Our position literally on the waters edge offers a unique and accessible shoreline. New stairs larding down to the rocky outcropping have just been installed. You can use a mooring to tie up kayaks or for your boat. You could not be more close to the sea than through a stay at Harbor Edge!
