1928 Waterfront Renovated Beachfront Summer Cottage

We fell in love with this house and we hope you do as well.

We love the old style feel of a true Beach Cottage that brings back memories of playing cards, lazy days, pink skin, and grilled cheese. The ability to walk out the back door, onto a large deck, and be right on the beach with the ability to spend the full day on the beach and never having to leave the property.

And then there are the views………

We took over of caretakers of this 1928 waterfront family cottage from the original owners, The Brown Family, in 2012. We renovated it with an eye keeping all the charm and feel of an era gone by BUT with all the modern conveniences of heat, central air conditioning, new bathrooms, outdoor shower, and a large great big workable kitchen- ideal for group cooking and dinner.

There is a very large open concept kitchen, living room, and dining room with a custom made dinner table that seats 12 easily.

The house is comfortable for 2 but can lodge up to 9 people. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a sleeping loft that can accommodate up to 8 people (9 would be okay with 4 couples and a single)

Gas Grill and Wifi included.

We are dog friendly and dog lovers but to be courteous to the neighbors we limit one dog.

You have the house to yourselves. We live in the cottage on the property with our dog. We share the path to the beach but try to stay out of your way other than that. We are here year-round and available for recommendation or help anytime.

This is the best short term rental property of dozens my wife and I have stayed at!

Everything about this home is perfect. Extremely well stocked kitchen, cool decor, abundant seating and tables, Bose sound - just like home. Great hosts.

Wonderful return stay

This is a gorgeous home in a wonderful location. You are right on the bay, a few minutes drive from glorious Atlantic Ocean beaches or a few minutes in the other direction to P Town. This was our family's second off season stay at this property and we are already looking forward to the next time. The owner is extrememly helpful and generous but the stay felt completely private, as well.

Cape Cod getaway

A beautiful, comfortable house, by the sea, with spectacular views of Provincetown across the water, We had such a peaceful, restorative week at this perfect old renovated Cape Cod house, filled with old paintings and quirky and decorative features, maintaining an old time feel and giving you a sense of comfort and coziness. With P-Town only 5 minutes away, it was so convenient to explore town and the surrounding beaches. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We would certainly love to return to this gem of a home.

The perfect family getaway

Such a gem of a property! We had the most amazing time. Our dog, Lola, and 15-month old son absolutely loved the beach and the cottage accommodated both of them really well. We spent our days walking the beach, the national seashore and in Provincetown. Everything we needed was a 5-min. drive away. Even with a rainy afternoon we enjoyed staying in at the charming cottage and spent a few hours at the Provincetown library (which has a great children's section!) Ross, Mike and Olive were fantastic hosts. We hope to stay again soon!

Artsy house, with plenty of room, located on the beach.

Four of us had an enjoyable stay at this house last week. We each had our own room with two beds to spare and two bathrooms to share. The decor is amazing, with eclectic furniture and art. It feels like you're in a combination museum and thrift shop. There is a large table that we used for meals and games (provided with the house.) There is a large selection of dishes and tableware, and there is filtered water, and the freezer makes ice. Towels, sheets, and blankets are available, as well as a hair dryer. You need to bring your own toiletries. The location is perfect—away from all the traffic and noise but close enough to walk to Provincetown via the beach or street. We really enjoyed walking the beach every morning, which is only steps away from the house. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower and a faucet for rinsing your feet. There is a store very close by that has amazing sandwiches and limited groceries. I suggest bringing in food/drinks from a store off the Cape, as the prices are so inflated on the Cape. The hosts were friendly and checked in with us several times. Thank you very much, Ross & Mike!

Great vibe

The house was warm and inviting w awesome quirky decor. Location was all you could ask for on the water and minutes to P-town and the national seashore. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. Win win win- book if are lucky enough to find an open week.

Perfect Retreat!

We spent our anniversary week in this incredible cottage and could not have been happier. So many great things but the amazing water views were the top of the list, just stunning. The cottage itself was spacious, clean and had every last thing you would need for a great vacation. The art and decor was amazing, we loved it. Ross and Mike were great hosts, offering local suggestions and making sure we had everything we needed. We will be back, for sure!

Spring break getaway

We had wonderful stay in North Truro. We enjoyed walking on the beach, local hikes and bike paths. The community was super friendly and we loved staying at this location. Ross was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely return for another vacation.

One of the Best...

We have rented properties all over the Provincetown area for many years, and this one ranks among the very best. Lovely house, spectacular location, with unobstructed view of the bay. Sunset fills the entire horizon with the two Long Point lighthouses straight ahead and the town to the right, a view equally as beautiful seen from inside the house or out on the beach. The house is spacious with clever touches everywhere, charming, comfortable, well equipped and convenient. There was plenty of room to spread out and have privacy with lots of nooks and seating. And it was perfectly cozy even in December, a great cold weather get-away. The owners could not have been more gracious and accommodating, responsive to every request. This will definitely be a repeat!!

Perfect Escape-from-the-World Place

Ross and Mike are awesome and so is their house. It's so quintessentially Cape-y and they've thought of everything to include at/in/near their property. Specific awesome things are the outdoor shower, the massive dining table and kitchen counter/bar, the eclectic portraits all over the house, the back deck and its amazing view, and, of course, the private beach. We definitely want to stay again!

Amazing get away

This is a beautiful, eclectic home with everything you'd ever need, in an amazing location. Great for hanging in/at the beach with our multi-generational family (a la pandemic), but I'd imagine even better when the new normal returns. Ross & Mike are excellent hosts! We'd come back in a heartbeat!

Truro Beach Home

What a beautiful spot. There's really no reason to leave other than groceries. Serenity supreme and plenty of "cottage" to enjoy in the truest sense of Cape Cod. The atmosphere inside is one of Cape comfort and one step out the back door is the ocean. The private Adirondack chairs overlooking the sands and tides could just as easily double as an artists focused image in their perfect locations. Quaint house comes complete with sand on the floor and comfortably accommodates our family of 6 adults, two infants and a few well behaved dogs. Five min drive to downtown Provincetown.

Five of us easily moved in, spread out, put up our feet for a week of fun & relaxation. Truro ROCKS!

We're a party of 5: 55 yr.old MOM, 2 twenty something sons and their girlfriends looking for an easy vacation after a weekend of graduations in Boston. We found everything we wanted & more at this lovely nest on the bay. One big supply run to the Stop& Shop & a bike rental business were the only time we used our car. I had the beach to myself every early AM & the combing was fantastic! I also had the trail thru the dunes out to Race Pt. Beach entirely to myself. We all read, napped & wandered into Ptown whenever we felt like it. It was a great vacation on the Cape & We hope to try again next year. Thank you to our hosts, Mike & Ross who have created a wonderful retreat.

Perfect location, wonderful home and great hosts

Enjoyed a great stay in May with 11 adults and three small children. We were 4 generations of family so we appreciated the ability to all be together with plenty of space to spare. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked, beds were all very comfortable and the three bathrooms were perfect. Everyone took lots of pictures of the decor so we could replicate some of the ideas when we got home. We enjoyed dining out, strolling in Provincetown and a whale watch. For me the best part was the location on the private beach. We had meals on the deck and relaxed with the view. My favorite time of day was the early morning strolling on the beach. Nothing like opening the back door and being on the beach. I would highly recommend the house and hope to visit again in the future.

Wonderful house, perfect location!

This is a beautiful property in such an incredible spot. We had nine people and plenty of room to spare. We spent hours each morning on the beautiful deck and returned to the deck later in the day and watched the little foxes running through the sand. The hammock is wonderful and we made good use of the outdoor shower. You are only steps away from the water, we had padddleboards delivered from Provincetown, it was wonderful. We loved all of the art inside and had everything we needed for an amazing week!

Wonderful Family Week

We could not have had a more perfect week at this beautiful home! The location was ideal - peaceful, quiet, and close to Provincetown. The beach was lovely, and the view from the house was gorgeous during the day and especially beautiful at night with the lights across the bay - we even saw shooting stars! Every summer my husband and I look forward to spending time with our four (adult) children and their partners - and this house provided plenty of space for everyone. We loved the decor - so eclectic and inviting. The house was extremely clean and well equipped - plenty of space to cook, with everything that might be needed. The huge tables were excellent as no one had to be crowded when we had a few meals at home. The beds were absolutely the most comfortable we've ever slept on - just amazing. Morning coffee on the deck was wonderful - really comfortable furniture, with more than enough chairs and places to sit and relax. Our only regret is that we wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks so much, Mike and Ross, for being a pleasure to work with and for sharing your beautiful home.

Worth every penny.

In determining where to stay, I was informed that my bed would be in the boat house (aka, Low Tide). I was expecting a couple of bunks while making the main house where I spent my time. I was delighted to discover how spacious Low Tide is. Large kitchen, huge table to eat at, comfortable living room, and enough bedroom space to sprawl out in. Would definitely do it again.
