We love this place so much! It’s our 2nd time staying and we can’t wait to return. It’s incredibly clean and there’s plenty of space for 3 couples. The kitchen is well stocked. The hot tub is amazing. The views are incredible. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. 5 stars!

Everything was amazing! The entire home and hot tub were immaculate. The host thought of every amenity you could think of. The views were breathtaking! A True Oasis!

We had the most amazing time! The view is magical. The layout was perfect for 3 couples. Once we got there, we didn’t want to leave! We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this spot again. It was perfect!

Private Getaway

As the other reviews say this place is incredible. The little touches like the gift of eggs and honey and an actually clean rental cabin were a nice welcome. The privacy and seclusion where you don't see a single other house or light at night make it easy to relax in the hot tub or by the firepit. The little adventure up the mountain makes it worth it not to mention the two creeks to explore. Maybe 30 ish minutes to downtown Asheville was convenient too.

Amazing Spring Break

My family had a great time staying in the cabin! The view of the mountains is breathtaking and the amenities inside were wonderful. Travis was very helpful checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and in giving us suggestions on places nearby to visit. We didn't even leave the cabin two of our days here because it was such a relaxing retreat! We will definitely be back in the future!

Perfect Wedding Week Stay

We stayed here the week of our wedding and had the best time. The house and the views are even more beautiful than the photos. It’s very spacious and had all the kitchen essentials. We had multiple family members request the listing link once they saw it in person. Will 100% be back.

Outstanding property

My family spent 8 nights in August at this beautiful property. The cabin is perfect. Wonderful kitchen, bathrooms, and furnishings. Cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. The outdoor deck and patio are perfect and the view is amazing. Take advantage of the trails right out your door. The hosts are wonderful...so responsive to any questions. You can't beat this property!

The location, house, and host made this an exemplary trip! It’s difficult to find a house with 3 King bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Perfect for our group of 3 couples getting together from different locations. We didn’t leave the house because the view is breathtaking!

Best View in North Carolina!

No I'm serious, this place is awesome, but the view is completely unbeleivable. No other people exist in this view, it mostly Pisgah National Forest. It feels like you are the only people on earth when you are here. The house is perfect. We are going backfire week in April! Highly recommended, great hosts and the best accommodations!

BEST house ever!

This was by far the BEST house we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived we could tell how much love and thought was put in to every detail of this home. Travis and Rosemary were the most superior hosts and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We came for a wedding at Hawk and Hawthorne and the house was only a jump, hop and skip away! We loved hearing the river and taking in the breathtaking views of the Smokey Mountains! Unwinding in the hot tub and exploring the outdoors around us was so enjoyable. Great spot for a weekend getaway or family vacation with kids. I can’t wait to come back to the area as I will most definitely be staying here again! You will be doing yourself a service by booking this home over any other around. Amazing Christmas!

What an amazing VRBO! This has to be our favorite place by far! Between the view, hot tub, fire-pit, fabulous kitchen and well thought out floor plan, our stay was storybook! The Pisgah trails were awesome and you absolutely don’t want to leave unless you have to because it is so heavenly! We were even more blessed when we asked to add another day and Travis was very accommodating! Thanks for everything, Travis and Rosemary!

Best VRBO Experience Yet!

My wife and I have stayed at many VRBOs over the years and this place is the best! Amazing views, hiking, birding and fabulous solitude. We saw 23 species of birds right from the deck, including Scarlet Tanagers, Indigo Buntings and several species of Warblers. You can also hike right out the door on a well-maintained forest road. The cabin was extremely clean, well-stocked with great furniture. We ended up buying some of the deck furniture we used during the week. Travis and Rosemary were incredible hosts! We can't wait to got back!

Thanksgiving Week 2023

We loved every minute of our stay. There aren’t enough good things to say. The minute you walk in the front door you immediately feel at home and closing the door when you leave is bittersweet. I highly recommend this home to anyone who wants the beauty of the mountains, the isolation and peaceful vibe, a perfect place to restart your soul! The house is also stocked with anything you might need. The hosts have done a perfect job.

Stunning! Words can’t convey the amazing stay we had. A poet or an artist would have difficulty capturing the beauty, serenity and Zen-like atmosphere we enjoyed the whole time. Travis and Rosemary were so kind and thoughtful. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The log cabin and all its furnishings are top of the line. Even though you are out in the woods, small town shopping and atmosphere is nearby. Hiking is a must, there are several waterfalls on the property. We brought our e-bikes with us and enjoyed the trails from the cabin. We were able to go all the way out to the Craggy Gardens washout. We will definitely be back…

Spectacular

I have stayed at many remote VRBO cabins in the past. This blows them all away!! I almost hate leaving a good review because I’d like to keep this hidden gem all to myself. Listen if you want a new, clean remote cabin that has views only heaven can beat, look no further! This place is it! The host Travis is amazing as far as being welcoming and attentive to every possible need. It’s a class act all the way around. I wish I could give it ten stars. I will definitely be back. All I ask from possible renters is that you keep the property pristine so others, as well as yourselves (on return visits) can enjoy it time and time again. The Perfect Weekend

We can’t say enough good things about our stay here. The pictures don’t do anything justice. Every part of this home is amazing and beautiful. Every small detail is designed with intention. They really thought of everything. We chose to have our wedding here after seeing the pictures and the accommodations were exactly what we had been looking for. The hosts were absolutely fantastic, amazing, and extremely helpful through the entire experience. We were even able to fit it in the schedule to come look at the home a few months before our stay to come up with our plan. Our weekend stay was wonderful in every way. The space was so breath taking every moment of the day. There is a waterfall that you cross over as soon as you pull into the driveway that just prepares you for your stay. We decided to have our private vows the morning of on the log that crosses next to the driveway. The hosts and home was a huge reason we were able to have the wedding of our dreams. We definitely plan to come back in the future!! Don’t hesitate to book a stay here. It’s well worth it.
