About this property

The Blue Barn Guesthouse on Over Yonder Farm

The Blue Barn Guesthouse is located on a 147 acre farm in southwest Bozeman about 20 minutes from historic, downtown Bozeman and 45 minutes from Big Sky town center. A beautiful and private location to make as your home-base to explore all the activities big sky country has to offer, or just as a secluded spot to find peace and tranquility - scenic views included.

We are between Montana's two amazing ski areas: Big Sky/Moonlight Mountain and Bridger Bowl, about 45 minutes in either direction. The north and west entrances to Yellowstone Park is also within an hour and a half drive. Snowmobiling, x-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and whitewater rafting are all nearby and lastly there is no better place for hunting and fishing (especially fly-fishing).

The barn and attached guest house were completed in 2012. The guest house can comfortably sleep a family of 4 (2 to a bed). Kitchen comes fully equipped with appliances and cooking/eating utensils. There is also a washer and dryer located in the bathroom.

Guests are welcome to explore many areas of our farm and depending on the season there may be swimming in the pond, ice skating, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Typically there is ample wildlife to view, particularly for those early risers! The barn itself is a working barn for our farm and while we try to make it as accessible and available as possible, there are rare occasions when it may be unavailable to our guests. Upstairs in the barn loft there is a basketball hoop. Bring your hammock and string it up in the adjacent, aspen grove for a relaxing afternoon. In the spring you may even find a litter of sweet kittens in the stable area of the barn. And when available, we're happy to share our farm-fresh eggs with you.

We are able to provide a private pasture/dry lot if you are traveling with your horse/horses. Please inquire separately regarding horses. There is one indoor parking spot available in the barn during inclement weather.

Exactly What We Needed
We arrived after dark, only to awake with the most beautiful, picture perfect, surroundings. Clean, unique, welcoming, cozy yet spacious, and delightful. Oh and the most amazing water pressure in the shower!! Those who need internet, Wi-Fi was strong, television was streaming strong, and we enjoyed the music through the surround sound of the entire barn. Speaking of barn, we enjoyed a great game of indoor basketball upstairs. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the true nature.❤️❤️❤️
