We had a great stay. We came up for ski week and the cabin was perfect for our family of 4 (1 child and a toddler). Everything was clean and comfortable. The hosts were accommodating and had great communication. We drove up from the Bay Area to introduce our oldest to skiing. I highly recommend the ski school at Homewood, just minutes away from the cabin and we had a lot of fun at Granlibakken (also close by). The neighborhood is quiet and everyone was friendly, we spent a lot of time just walking around and playing in the snow. Lastly, I had been to Tahoe before but never stayed so close to the lake, it was really beautiful.

About the host

We are east coast transplants that love the snow and decided to purchase a home in Tahoe to be closer to nature and skiing. We are excited about this house because it opens to National Forest land and you can hike or back country ski right off the house. We love the giant windows in the front that allow us to see great afternoon sunshine and the snow falling. The chef's kitchen allows us to cook big family meals - including a double oven and a six burner stove.
