Black Bear Cabin is a traditional cabin located in a quiet family-oriented Homewood neighborhood, just five miles from Tahoe City. It is just a short walk to the Tahoe Pines sandy beach and private pier. You don't need to leave the neighborhood to enjoy your vacation, take a walk through Blackwood Canyon or hike up to the top of Eagle Rock for a panoramic view of Lake Tahoe. Both trails start in the Tahoe Pines neighborhood.
The cabin has a beautiful knotty pine interior and offers an open floor plan. The dining and kitchen areas opening to the living room which features a stone fireplace and double glass doors that open to the large south facing deck. The over-sized deck is a perfect place for grilling, outdoor dining, or relaxing under the pine trees. The home sits back from the street and has a large front and back yard, giving plenty of room for the little ones to run around.
On the main floor you will find a full kitchen with all amenities, dining area, living room, hallway bathroom, laundry room and a bedroom with two twin beds. The convenient back door off the dining area is another access to the large woodsy back yard. On the upper floor you will find a large loft bedroom with a Queen size bed and large closet, a second bathroom and another bedroom with two sets of twin size bunk beds.

* Bedroom 2: Two sets of twin bunk-beds (Upstairs)
* Open Loft Sleeping area: One queen bed
Parking:
* Parking is available for a maximum of 3 vehicles. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults
