About Robin Corey
My dream was to build on this piece of family property. It has been in my family for many years . I have such fond memories of coming here as a child with my sisters and then bringing my family here. The cousins all have come here together for many summers. We still come together every year and the memories continue to build. The many grand children still run on the beach and go to each others cottage for snacks and meals. I cherish the gifts that summer brings when I am here. I especially love the laughter of the children. I live in Bangor and I come to this island as often as I can. I am so grateful to have my dream come true. I would like to offer this gift to you. Come and enjoy!

Why Robin Corey chose Bar Harbor
It is beautiful, quiet, peaceful and has a calming effect on the spirit. It is fun to play by the water and find things on the beach. The stars on the front deck are so bright they speak to the little kid in you.
What makes this Cottage unique
The stars are spectacular at night. The deer sleep on the front lawn. The star fish and sand dollars are all over the beach!

Fantastic house - felt like home
My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house. The location is perfect… It is less than 15 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor, and only about 10 minutes to Acadia National Park. Yet it is still off the beaten path, quiet and secluded. We loved being able to walk down to the beach anytime and explore. The kitchen was well-equipped, with many odds and ends that you would not usually find in a rental, including things like spices. The beds were comfortable and there was at least one fan for every bedroom. Plenty of linens available. The owner, Robin, was very accommodating, and stopped in a couple of times while we were there to say hi and ask how we were doing. I would highly recommend this home is a fantastic place to stay for your vacation!
Very comfortable, clean and a great location Robin was very helpful with suggestions for activiies
We had a wonderful week. The location is close to Acadia and we enjoyed hiking, cycling, paddle boarding and swimming.
Absolutely perfect! ....the home, the views, the location..we could not have asked for more. The house is located on a quiet cove on Frenchman’s Bay..with proximity to downtown BarHarbor and Acadia National Park. Access to a private beach that was perfect for exploring at low tide and beautiful sunsets. The home is beautiful with a functional layout that made for a very comfortable stay for 6 adults & baby. Kitchen was very well appointed and easy to cook in. The back deck overlooking the water was great for grilling & dining. The house was very clean and linens plentiful. Robin was gracious and accommodating and has great taste in design as was evident in this home. We enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to return!
Perfect stay, modern, very well equipped
Really a perfect place to stay except one small detail: no hot water and heating from Friday evening to Saturday morning. The neighborhood is pleasant and the view amazing.
Thank you very much for the feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We addressed the water heater as soon as it was brought to our attention and the issue has been resolved.
Super nice cottage, everything we needed for our stay in Bar Harbor. Great location too!
Lovely clean well appointed cottage in a great location. Nice beach for searching for sea glass, & the ovens are a unique attraction. Close to Acadia & everything in Bar Harbor & all of Mt Desert Island. Perfect for our group of four!
Well appointed, clean and centrally located
Our stay at Robin's Egg was just what our family of 4 needed. Lovely location, with a quiet wide stone beach just a 1 min walk down the gentle hill with amazing sunsets. We brought a kayak, and stored the kayak on the upper part of the beach. Lovely kayaking location, and interesting rock formations including the Ovens.
The house had everything we needed with sheets, towels, appliances and pantry basics. Washer and dryer were a plus. Thank you Robin for a lovely August week in Maine.
6 miles from the entrance to Acadia National Park. The walk across the beach out front is beautiful. If you walk around the corner you will see caves. The Ovens are the name of these caves. It is several caves on the beach only accessible at low tide. Pirates Cove miniature golf about 1mile away.
