Glenwood Pond Cottage fue reconstruida en 2017-18 por residentes de la isla de 30 años. This property was perfect for the 6 of us. We had everything we needed to make meals. The dining table was perfect for playing games as well as eating. It’s close enough to all that we wanted to do and see. The walk to the pond is short and beautiful. Our host responded quickly to any questions I had. If the opportunity arises I would without a doubt stay here again. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed.

Our stay was amazing! Spacious house, private lot, quiet area but still close to everything!! It was nice having washer and dryer, 3 bedrooms with queen beds and 3 bathrooms with a crowd of 6 adults. Also has a huge sunporch ! Host was very responsive to messages 10/10 recommend! We’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home on quiet street. Very clean with all the amenities you would need. Great location close to Acadia and other attractions. Spacious bedrooms and kid friendly! Would highly recommend and plan to stay here again in the future!

This home was amazing! It was even better than advertised! It was secluded but close to Acadia NP and downtown Bar Harbor. It was quiet and so relaxing with lots of room for everyone to have space! We did not have any problems- everything was there for our needs. We had one question and when I texted the host it was answered within 10 minutes! A great place to stay, you will not regret it

Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! Perfect location to Acadia,and downtown Bar Harbor! Very clean, and more than enough room for our family of four to hang out and have our own space. Kitchen didn’t lack anything either. We had a bit of an unexpected heat wave so a little warm to sleep without AC but plenty of fans. We all worked on the harbor puzzle during the week after long hikes during the day :)

This place was just perfect for three couples - three bedrooms and three full baths. We were close enough to more lobster than we could eat and more mountains and trails than we could hike on Mount Desert Island. The house opened with a code, instructions were clear for all things about the house, it was clean as a whistle and had lots of light. The kitchen looked like it had everything we would need if we had cooked, but we only used the coffee maker. The towels were thick, fluffy and plentiful, the sheets were soft, hair dryers and fans were provided, and the laundry was perfect as we began our second week in Maine. We would definitely recommend this VRBO!

It was great

The house was beautiful. I loved the location. It was quiet and peaceful, but close to town where everything was going on. We could have stayed longer. The host and owner were great for anything we needed. Would definitely stay again

The Maine experience

Family vacation , teen to adult children.Enjoyed our stay at this typical Maine style home . Spotlessly clean ,hardwood floors , well equipped home.Enjoyed grilling on the deck and spotting deer in the surrounding woods .For the Floridians there is no central cooling as we are accustomed too there are standing fans in the bedrooms . Opening windows are not an option due to bugs . So maybe warm in July and August .

Great family stay

Nice, secluded area but still close to town and the park. The house was comfortable for 4 adults and 2 kids, and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful trip and would definitely stay again!

A quiet getaway in the woods

Easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Great kitchen, stove, and cookware. This is our 2nd stay at this home. Great communication with owner/manager, super responsive.

Peaceful, Spacious, Immaculately Clean!

"Glenwood Pond" is a roomy, spacious home with a neat, clean, and welcome feel to it! We loved the side deck with the grill, as well as the relaxed sunroom and the VERY spacious kitchen area which lent itself to everyone hanging out together while meal prep was underway! The kitchen was well-supplied with a wide selection of pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, gas stove/oven, and other cooking accoutrements. The owners even had the gracious forethought to include paper plates for those times when folks might be taking a meal with them! The living/TV room was a great spot to relax. The upstairs is arranged for three very spacious bedrooms, and two full baths (one full bath on the first floor as well) -- so very roomy!! Not to leave out the washer and dryer also on the first floor -- what a luxury to have that as well! The property itself is wonderfully situated, reasonably close to all aspects of Acadia National Park, facilitating our explorations of many of the park's areas. If we're able to make it up to the Acadia National Park area again, we will definitely want to reserve this home again! Thank you for being a huge contributing factor to the specialness of our week's vacation!

Spacious home in a wonderful location

This is our second year staying at this home and loved it again. The house is conveniently located about 15-20 minutes to Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, and Southwest Harbor. This spacious home is very private and offers many comfortable amenities. It is very clean - has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, a nice enclosed porch and great laundry room. It is a wonderful place to hang out with friends and family.

Acadia vacation

The pictures do not do his house justice! Its beautiful, spacious and so clean! The location was perfect for us, only about 8 minutes from the entrance to the park and about 10-15 to downtown Bar Harbor. The location is so quiet and you can barely see the neighboring houses. We hope to return to Acadia and would love to stay in this home again!

Beautiful home in a secluded but convenient location

Five of our family members from NJ, CO, and MA gathered here to enjoy a vacation together. It was the perfect spot as the home was within 20 minutes of trails, lakes, Cadillac Mountain, and shopping. Set in a wooded area with its own private drive, while close to activity, we still were able to enjoy the privacy the location of the house provided. There were lots of rooms to gather in small or large groups. Four other family members staying in a different location came one day and the house never felt "crowded". We especially enjoyed the "puzzle room" or the porch as the pictures on VRBO describe. They have a card table set up with chairs and we all took turns getting the puzzle that was in the living room area completed.

Acadia Vacation

Clean, plenty of room, well-stocked (The house had everything we needed.) The pond and neighborhood were great for our morning walks. Convenient location to Acadia NP (5.6mi to Hulls Cove visitor center) and Bar Harbor. Did not miss A/C, but fans came in handy. Convenient to Town Hill market (great blueberry pie)

Clean, updated, but not suited for young families

My husband and I stayed with our four kids ages 4-13. The property was as described, in a beautiful rural setting. The house was very clean and spacious. We happened to stay during an unusually hot week, so all the rooms upstairs were very hot and the fans didn’t do much to help, so it was uncomfortable with no ac. The kitchen has minimal utensils and small glasses. You’ll need to bring your own utensils for eating lobster and also bring your own games as there was only a puzzle and connect four. High expectations for how the house should be left which were not specified on checkout instructions.
