Two covered lanais for pupus, mai-tais and outside dining. After an adventurous day on the Kalalau Trail, you can star gaze in your private hot tub under the moonlight in this serene, beautiful , private, half acre surrounding. 'Pau Hana', your Tiki, combined with landscape lighting, enhances the romance and intrigue of your evenings. You will find the gardens abundant with flowering tropical plants, orchids, fruit trees and water gardens. The avid gardeners and owners private home share a portion of this property .

You are just a few minutes walk from miles of sandy beach, beginning at Haena Point, the prime location for shell seeking affectionados at sunrise. As you make your way down the shoreline of Tunnels (Makua Beach) to Haena Beach Park, be sure to visit the wet and dry caves, Limahuli Tropical Gardens and Ke'e Beach. For those who want to experience the majestic Napali coast, you will need to make prior reservations.
The challenging Kalalau trail head begins at Ke'e Beach and takes you to Hanakapai Beach and the Kalalau valley.

Taking a 15 minute scenic drive, crossing 7 one lane bridges with view planes of the ocean and beaches to Hanalei Bay and Princeville, provides you with all the services you may want, such as: Local Hawaiian memorabilia, helicopter tours, world class golfing, restaurants, nightly entertainment, local farmers markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays, grocery stores, post office and banks.

Beach towels and chairs, snorkel equipment, boogie board and ice chests are provided for your exclusive use.

Our 9th trip to Kauai and this is the BEST place to stay if there’s only the 2 of you. Great Robes , hot tub, comfy bed, walk to tunnels, really well-stocked ( host even replaced Weber grill when I mentioned it could use some TLC! …. Now THAT’S being super responsive!) the garden and peaceful setting are unsurpassed. All beach supplies provided. Toni is just the loveliest host and example of true Aloha. Very hard to leave but we hope to be back, or at least toDream of this oasis in cold times at home. Thanks Toni and Samson the greeter-pup!

Beautiful place.

Very beautiful property with lovely gardens. Enjoyed the hot tub & Loved walking to tunnels beach. Our host Toni and her pup, Samson were great. Highly recommend staying here and hope to return again.

The Tiki Hut is the perfect secluded slice of paradise for anyone looking for a quiet tropical beach getaway. Toni’s property and gardens are pristinely manicured for you to sink into island time and enjoy your stay on the beautiful island of Kauai. My wife and I truly enjoyed our extended stay at the property. It has all of the amenities someone would need, easy 5 min walk to tunnels beach for the best snorkeling on the island, and the best greeter/guard dog out there. We cannot wait to come back and visit!

Magical Place!

Everything we could have imagined and more! Comfortable accommodations and lots of beach amenities (chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc) just a few minute stroll to our favorite beach on the island…we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing

We loved our stay. The garden surroundings were out of this world! I could go on and on about this topic alone… Toni and Samson made us feel so welcome. The tiki hut was spotless, and appointed with touches that made it feel like we were in a home rather than a rental. The location is perfect for a beach holiday, just 5-10 mins walk down a path to one of the best beaches on Kauai.

Great place!

Had a great time while staying at the Tiki Hut! Tunnels beach was even closer to the cottage than I previously thought - very short walk. Nearby areas such as Hanelei and Princeville are also a short drive and easily accessible by car. Great cottage and would love to stay again!

A Must-See VRBO!

Overall, I rate everything a 10. Toni was absolutely the best host I have encountered at a VRBO. She wanted to make sure your stay was comfortable and that you had everything you needed for a perfect getaway. The location is safe, secure, beautiful, quiet and felt like you were living in a manicured jungle.

A true escape

The Tiki Hut sits in a stunningly beautiful and peaceful garden. A short walk to the beach. We went swimming there every day. Quiet and secluded location but a short drive into Hanalei.

Tiki Hut is paradise!

Tiki Hut exceeded our expectations! Best place to stay in Kauai! The accommodation's were top notch. Wine in the fridge, fresh fruit and flowers on the counter. The gardens are amazing! The walk to the beach was a quick walk. Anyone that stays here will be glad they booked the Tiki Hut…it is PARADISE.

Perfect and easy!

hideaway tucked away in a little piece of paradise

The Tiki Hut is in an amazing location just a short walk away from (in our opinion) one of the best beaches in kauai. Though it is a drive to get to stores and restaurants, the privacy and seclusion you get it worth it. Toni was a wonderful host and made us feel most welcome as did Sampson her amazing dog. The garden surrounding the tiki hut is truly amazing and provided us hours of lizard and bird watching from the two porches.

The Best!

Our stay at the Tiki Hut was the best vacation! Toni was a great hostess and her place is unbelievably comfortable and beautiful. Tiki Hut Anniversary Getaway
