Coffee/tea essentials provided. Wi-Fi, smart TV, & dedicated workspace. Private patio w/ fire pit. Kayaks available. Several Chesapeake Bay Wine Trail wineries in the area. Close to Hughlett's Point Natural Area Preserve. Relax, unwind, & enjoy the beauty of the Northern Neck!
The space
Newly finished apartment with new appliances to include refrigerator with craft ice, stove with built in air fryer, microwave, dishwasher, and stacked washer/ dryer. Fresh paint, tile bathrooms, Alberene Soapstone countertops. New cabinets stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, spices, and other needed essentials to prepare your own meals. Coffee and tea provided. High Speed internet and smart TV on site. Private mostly wooded lot. Patio with love seat and chairs and fire pit perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening drink. Adult games, family games, and children's toys provided. Along with books for people of all ages. Beach towels for guest use during their stay are also provided. Short walk to dock where you can enjoy fishing, crabbing, kayaking, or just admire the beautiful scenery. Dock has an outdoor shower for your use. Fish cleaning station on dock. Kayaks available for guest use. Picnic table overlooking the creek.
Guest access
Guests will have access to full 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment. The garage located under the apartment is not accessible to guest. Guests will also have access to the dock on property across the road from the apartment located on Gougher Creek. The dock is shared by the host and her family.
Other things to note
This is an upstairs apartment and is not handicap accessible.

Wonderful weekend stay!

Creek Retreat is a beautiful and peaceful getaway! I really appreciate the little details that made it such a great stay (snacks, fresh eggs, toiletries, toys, games, and linens/towels). My kids had fun on the dock trying to catch crabs. The area is great for nature lovers. This was a nicely priced, well desocrated & clean home. Would love to stay here again for a longer time!

This is a beautiful property. The hosts pay attention to details in a way that made me smile. The linens and other comforts are all top quality. I did not stay with any small children, but we noticed that there were some toys and books in a closet - very thoughtful for families that might stay there. There is a lovely patio with a fire pit. Access to the water with kayaks supplied. We were there for a family event; this would be a great location for a getaway - very peaceful and oh, so comfortable.

Hidden Gem

This place is the bee knees. Tucked away in a quiet woods setting. Georgia is probably the best host Ive ever had, honestly. Cute, clean, has everything you need and then some. Dock is a short walk to enjoy peace, quiet and kayaking.
