This is truly a log cabin in a gated community. Newly established, you will find wide open spaces and all the privacy you need. Bring your favorite novel and enjoy the wrap around deck with mountain top views.
This is our personal getaway cabin which we rent on a limited bases. This means you will have a new, clean, fresh home experience. Stainless steel appliances, beautiful hickory flooring. Our goal is for you to love this place as we do and come back as a tradition year after year.

We really enjoyed our trip. The place was clean and well kept. It was also located where you don't hear cars on the highway and only hear nature.

Weekend getaway

The house was very clean, and just the right size for us. The owners have it stocked with everything you need if you want to stay in for a peaceful weekend getaway. We had a great weekend with our lab boys. We will definitely be visiting this property again!

A week in the NC mountains

Our family wanted to explore some of the attractions that the NC mountains have to offer. This cabin in Marion was a central location, and a wonderful place to relax after our adventure filled days. We will recommend this cabin to our friends.

Perfect place away from it all!

Fantastic Cabin! Clean, warm, and welcoming! My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to coming back in different seasons! Spent some time exploring the area and loved Grandfather Mountain! Cabin had everything needed! Perfect.

Nice value stay.

Property is clean. Neighborhood is quiet so sleep time is optimal. Neighbors themselves very nice if you happen to meet them. TV streams great. Property manager was responsive. Great value stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grizzly Den. The cabin itself was very nice, well maintained, and clean! It felt like we were in a tree house with all of the trees surrounding us. Communication with the owner was outstanding. He was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Relaxing

The stay at the cabin was very relaxing. I would recommend getting any directions needed from the cabin setup before leaving. There is limited service and my GPS couldn't find me for a little while after leaving the cabin.

North Carolina fun getaway!

We had a wonderful time in this completely furnished vacation home. All we needed was some food, drink, and a suitcase. It was so quiet and peaceful. The rockers on the deck were great for watching the sunset over the mountains and nice and cool to enjoy the first cup of coffee in the morning. It was easy to access all the sights you could want in western NC. Great restaurants all over, and none were chain places. This place is on our list of places to return to.

Great Getaway Home

The owners have this house stocked for everything that you need, super helpful! The location is beautiful and we saw three deer right near the property as well as a bunny in the yard. Would be perfect to bring your ATV, great entertainment for the kids att the end of the driveway including trampoline, playground and basketball court and a beautiful patio to have picnics. The interior and exterior of the home is so beautiful. I will definitely be saving this spot as a favorite. I would love to spend a week and enjoy the place as well as all the local activities.

Christmas in Marion

Fantastic accommodations, peaceful, quiet area. Record low temps while we there, woke to frozen pipes on Christmas Eve. Us folks from Florida not used to that. Property Manager was very attentive and was able to have a neighbor get the water working right away. He then followed up to make sure everything else was ok. We will most definitely stay here again.

Cozy mountain cabin!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was very clean, equipped with everything needed, and felt very cozy! My dog loved going for walks down the quiet neighborhood streets and we loved relaxing on the porch ! Internet worked great at the house because all around the area outside the house our phones didn’t get service. Would definitely recommend this cabin !

Very nice place to stay.

The cabin was great. Had a hard time finding places to eat but that not the property fault. The place had great internet. We were streaming online with 3 devices. The property manager made special arrangements when we found out the local dumpster were closed on the 4th and we left that day.

Quiet Getaway

If you are bringing kids, the playground, mini golf and arcade at the bottom of the driveway is included! The marked hiking trail in the front hard is not, however. We thought it was marked as a trail and were wrong, the neighbor let us know. This cabin is beautiful. Not overly decorated or cluttered. The cell service was almost non existent (Verizon) and the wifi will not support multiple devices so you can truly escape! The downstairs pool/dart room was perfect for hanging out after the kids went to sleep. Overall, we would certainly stay here again if we return to the area!

Beautiful cabin to relax and recharge!

We needed a long weekend away to hike, read and relax. This was the perfect spot. The internet is lacking, which actually was good. It forced us out of bad habits and made us take deeper breaths. It rained the first few days but we did walks in the rain anyway and a few hikes once things cleared up. Cabin is gorgeous and has everything one could need! Warm and cozy. The road is mostly paved, just the last little bit is gravel. We had all-wheel drive which did kick in going up the last chunk of road.

Great place to stay near Marion NC about 50 minutes from Asheville NC.

Beautiful cabin in a gated community. Peaceful place to stay. Drink your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the property. No At&t cell service but owner offers wifi. Smart tv has cable and Netflix but netflix struggled to work at times because of connection issues. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is at this cabin just bring your clothes. Lake Lure is 40 minutes away. I recommend a restaurant called Copper Penny about 20 minutes away from the cabin they have great food, good prices, and live music. If we are in area again I will try and stay at this cabin.

Perfect for a Weekend Getawat
