Very nice cabin in a beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful. Deck was awesome for reading, coffee drinking and watching the wildlife. (Deer, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks) The temps during our stay were in the mid 90's but even with no AC the cabin was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was just my wife and I and our dog. The cabin had everything we needed, and it was very comfortable and relaxing. The location is great, close to Salida and so many recreation areas. We have already recommended it to some friends.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was exactly what we needed. Beautiful surroundings and no noise. The cabin had very nice touches and we were very comfortable. We both definitely recommend.

The cabin was very cute, super clean, and well stocked. It is conveniently close to Salida, many hiking trails, and local hot springs. It was also very quiet at night. However, a house is being constructed in close proximity to the cabin and we heard that noise throughout the day. And recently a bright street light was installed just outside the cabin that cannot be switched off which eliminates any stargazing. Unfortunately, the area seems to be changing and the cabin didn't have the peaceful, remote atmosphere we were hoping for.

A beautiful and peaceful property. Great communication from the host. They provided excellent information through email, text and the Welcome Book at the cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked with extra blankets and towels. The kitchen was clean and had everything that you needed. A great home base for adventuring around Salida and the Arkansas river. Definitely would stay here again!

Beautiful, clean and serene cabin

My family and I stayed here for several nights and had a wonderful experience. The space was sparkling clean, the pullout queen bed was surprisingly comfy, and the environment was beautiful surrounded by tall pines. We even saw a herd of deer in the early morning. Will be renting from this company again. Checkin and checkout process were smooth, and it was easy to navigate to the cabin using Google Maps.

Awesome Cabin in SE Colorado

This cabin was located at a lower elevation than other cabins we viewed. Perfect for a couples get away. Appliances were large and functioned well. Used the crock pot and ate at the cabin. Never ate out! We enjoyed visiting this part of Colorado which made this cabin a great location. The history of the cabin is awesome decor and the framed reminders of what NOT to do at the cabin was very tasteful. We used the Fire-pit every night and enjoyed the wilderness location. Only 1.3 miles of unpaved road. We wished we could of stayed longer! Best of the Best!!
