Bordered by the Gulf of Mexico to the west and the Intracoastal waterway and Boca Ciega Bay to the east. Restaurants, shopping, entertainment, cruises and water sports are walking distance - just across the street at famous John's Pass Village and Boardwalk. Rusted tin roofs and weathered planks all contribute to a feeling of antiquity at this 'turn-of-the-century fishing village' as does a 1,000 foot water hugging boardwalk.

The condo has been professionally decorated and boasts of only the best in furnishings and accessories. Kitchen appointments include professional quality cookware and appliances. Relax on soft leather upholstery, enjoy two fireplaces while watching the ocean surf. Bring your laptop (if you must!) as we have wireless internet service and a wireless printer/copier. 55' LCD flat screen TV plus Blue Ray DVD player, and DVD library are provided for your entertainment needs.

Great location right on the beach!

Condo was the perfect location - on the beach and right across the street from John's Pass. Condo has everything you need to make it feel like home. Loved the beach chairs and pool floats, and the well equipped kitchen. Best part was the resident celebrity cat - we loved saying Hi to Butterball every day! Will be back next year!

Wonderful Stay

What a great week ! Condo unit was exactly as pictured and so very well equipped! It was absolutely beautiful to wake up and see the gulf. Several excellent restaurants across the street at Johnā€™s Pass ! Will return next year ! The only downside was the elevators not always working but the condo itself was perfect !

Such a great condo in a perfect location. We relaxed with some much needed beach time. Check in was easy, parking was easy, everything was easy. Great communication from the manager as well.

Great location

Overall, a nice condo with an amazing view. We felt as though the kitchen could use some TLC. Had to deal with ants, maybe sugar ants. We really enjoyed the area. Very convenient location. Thank you for being responsive when we had questions or concerns.

Paradise right on the beach!

This condo has amazing views from the balcony of the beach and sunsets! The condo is well laid out and appointed with everything you need. It is right across the street from Johnā€™s Pass that has a lot of shopping and restaurants that are awesome! The beach is right outside your door and is an amazing beach with the softest sand we have ever experienced. The pool is a great gathering place and everyone there was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Love Madeira Beach!!

Wonderful view but needs better cleaning

Great located apartment close to stores and restaurants, right on beach. Amazing view from all the windows. Apartment needs better cleaning and some updates. Overall good but not worth the money

So sad that Helene cut our vacation short but pray that everyone was okay and Mad beach will recover and we will be back next year. And the staff was great.

The unit's over all appearance was good however after our walk through it was obvious that the bathroom needed better detailing (shower mold) and the general small maintenance (missing light bulbs, broken switch plates and outside lounge chairs) were in need of some TLS. Management Staff was outstanding to work with. They make checking in and out very easy and were there for all my questions. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to future visits.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You cannot beat the view from this porch! Itā€™s also great to have laundry right in the condo and the location of Madeira Norte is perfect. We were quite unhappy with the cleanliness of this unit however. The cabinet doors were dirty, there were food splatters on some of the walls and I ended up spending a morning cleaning. We were offered a second cleaning but turned it down since it would have interfered with our vacation. We did receive a cleaning credit.

Fabulous views!

We absolutely loved the views from the condo! It was as if we were right on top of the beach! The sunrises and sunsets were phenomenal! The condo was lovely and the beds were extremely comfortable! Having so many keys to access each area was a little difficult, but we were thankful for the added security! The only downside would be that the water pressure in the master bath was extremely low and difficult to wash out shampoo. We all ended up having to take showers in the guest bath. We rented chairs and umbrellas from an outside company, (although it turned out there were a few chairs in a condominium)ā€¦ we had hoped to have a company just come in to set up and take down umbrellas and chairs for us every day, but that was not allowed by the condominium association. It was a daily hassle putting up the umbrellas, but we managed. We were thankful there was a beach wagon in the closet for us to use! All in all, it was a fabulous vacation!

Great Location and Has everything you need, BUT...

I rely on these reviews, so I'm just being honest. The condo location is fantastic, the views amazing. Great communication with management prior to check in. The condo has everything that you will need. Kitchen well stocked with basic ingredients and dishware. Beach chairs and other toys are provided. The beach location and views couldn't be better! We had a great time. Super convenient to restaurants - although, James Pass closes down at 9:00 pm so for later dining you will need to drive. Its' a close drive to other restaurants. The view/sliding glass door in the master BR was very nice to have and the patio was our favorite hang out. The BUTS: If you are a super clean freak, you may have issues. The condo is clean, but their vents are super super gross and dusty and one is in a highly viewable area from the living room. We thought it was gross. If you are at all sensitive to Mold, DO NOT stay here. I realize it's Florida, and we've stayed in the same area before with no issues but this place caused huge respiratory problem for my husband. If mold doesn't bother you, then no problem. Also, there were several issues that I believe fall under "Property Management" roles. There are lightbulbs out in the bathrooms. The front door is filthy and cobweb covered and was not a pleasant first impression. The shower curtain is moldy and needs to be replaced. The bedroom bedside lamp doesn't work. A window screen in the bedroom is broken. There were other smaller things but I lost the pictures I took, so these are the bigger ones that I remember. These are all fixable issues, so if the management fixed these, the place would be absolutely GREAT!
