This condo has a new kitchen and baths and is located in the Lake Forest Glen complex right outside of Tahoe City on the north shore. You are close to dining, shopping, ski areas, and the lake. In the summer, you have access to the pools, tennis, and hot tub. There is one pool for adults and one for families. The hot tub is available year round and is available for family use. You are a block from the lake and lovely Skylandia State Park park. Upstairs are two bedrooms, the queen bed is brand new and the second bedroom has two twins. New blinds through out. There is a nice quiet back deck area that is fenced with a BBQ to enjoy dining outdoors in the fresh mountain air. .

This property was great, exactly what we were looking for in a cozy winter getaway for 3.
Modern kitchen. No problems with wifi. Comfortable beds (one queen, two twin). Nice wrought iron stove (gas) for warming your toes after a chilly day on the slopes. The dining area is a breakfast bar.
I wouldn't call it spacious, but it made up for that with a feeling of coziness, which I would prefer on a cold winter day.
One complaint is that the heat was very uneven. You had to crank it up to get warm downstairs, and then the upstairs was roasting. Not really a problem as long as you aren't trying to use the downstairs (kitchen, living room) and upstairs (bedrooms) at the same time. Also the heater is fairly loud upstairs.
One of my favorite things was how on-top-of-it Wells and Bennett was! The welcome packet that we picked up was detailed. (Heed their warning to not use wifi to find the condo.) They called to check on us, and were very helpful when we called them with a question - they knew the property well. We almost got snowed in (80 was closed the morning we left, but fortunately it opened up around noon), and they were very helpful.
We enjoyed our stay and found the condo inviting. The access to the pool was a great add, the beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with the basics. The location is close to Tahoe City for shopping, but removed enough that you can take walks in the woods and to the lake.
The unit is in a quiet location--no road noise, and the construction is solid enough (with double-paned windows throughout) that we didn’t hear our neighbors. Kitchen and bathrooms looked to be recently remodeled. Internet was fast (22Mbps download) and reliable.
Both pools were clean, warm, and in excellent repair. There were bathrooms on-site. The family pool had lots of float rings, noodles, and balls to play with. You can park right next to the family pool. The adult pool is in the middle of a grassy area with beautiful landscaping and a gazebo. We were allowed to take our kids into the adult pool, sauna, and hot tub (101 degrees) when there were no adults using them.
My husband and our 3 kids (ages 9, 10 & 12) stayed here for 5 days and we absolutely loved it! My two younger kids loved the onsite pools and tennis courts. My eldest loved just being able to laze about doing nothing but play on his iPad and MacBook (very good WiFi here for those who don't entirely want to disconnect from the digital world).
Tahoe City is about a half mile walk away. I walked into town a couple of times and enjoyed the walk. It took me between 30-60 minutes depending on how leisurely I walked. I think it can probably be walked much faster (the kids and I joked about all the other walkers who over took us), but we enjoyed strolling about and taking our time. The lake was a lot of fun for the kids.
The condo is well-stocked with everything you need. My husband loved the gas grill out back and we cooked our own meals most of the time. Onsite washer and dryer was so convenient.
We also drove into Reno for the day (not too far away, about an hour) and that was a fun little sojourn. We caught a really entertaining magic show and visited the Sierra Safari Zoo (a highlight for my daughter as there were several baby animals).
Wells & Bennet Realtors were great to deal with. The reservation process was smooth. Everyone was very friendly. We had a slight problem with the furnace being on and not turning off (not awesome in the hot summer days & eves) and they got right on it.
Thank you for the great accommodations. We are only sorry that we couldn't stay longer.
We have stayed in the Bradford property on two previous occasions and were very happy to be able to return for a brief stay this summer. The property is always clean and well stocked with all of the necessities. The location is perfect and within walking distance to all of the ammenities. My family had a wonderful time and we hope to return again next summer.
This group of condos provides basic but good accommodations for 2-4 people. A lovely view of the lake is a short walk away, and while there are no views from the condo, there is a small private outside space. We were way too busy at the beach and hiking to spend time at the pool, but it looked likes perfect place for kids to hang out in the evening.
Great location - just a minute from Tahoe City, beach, skiing! Walk to the beach, bike to town.
