Great Location on the Cape

Our family had an amazing stay at this house. Overall, its not a huge place, but it worked fine for us (party of 4). The location is really great - walking distance to a private beach and a lot to do in the Eastham/Wellfleet area, as well as drivable to Provincetown, Chatham, etc.. We are looking forward to coming back again.

Perfect spot

Ideally situated near a beautiful and quiet private beach, with lovely views from the rooftop deck. Perfectly sized for us (a couple with a small dog) but could accommodate more if needed. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful property and beautiful location!

We loved this house. It is even more spacious and charming than it appeared online. Just a short walk to an uncrowned beach. The roof-top porch is fantastic. Kitchen in particular was extremely well stocked and well laid out.

Amazing!!

First time to Cape Cod and it definitely did not disappoint. The location of the rental was pretty much in the middle of all the areas of interest and just a very short walk the the beach..we seriously didn’t want to leave. Loved every second of this vacation.

Summer 2025

Clean and had all we needed. The early checkout time and late checkin time are annoying. Loved the location and the house itself. The house was vacant the day before our stay and it took much effort with no response to try to move up checkin in only 2 hours.

We had a wonderful stay, this listing is exactly as described. The house is perfect for a couple or a family. Big bonus we were able to bring our dogs. We will for sure come again. Great neighborhood and tucked away peace and quiet!! Beautiful sunsets from the rooftop deck....

Hi Phillip, Thanks for your input. We always strive to provide an excellent vacation and experience and your input helps us get better! Sleeps 6+, roof-deck, water-view, 1-block to a private neighborhood beach where you can see sunsets every day for the first week in August (the busiest week in the season), at only $750/night ($125/person/night) is an excellent deal and we've never had a customer concerned about pricing before. We do have other homes that aren't as close to the water, without views that are friendlier on the budget. Safe travels & thank you again for your feedback. Best, Luke

AMAZING!

We stayed in this beautiful home for one week in June, wish we could have stayed for two! The house was spotless and everything was in working order. We thouroughly enjoyed cooking in the well appointed (Lobster pot included!) kitchen. The two minute walk to the private beach was priceless. The customer service that we received from Luke at Del Mar was wonderful. I would highly recommend to a friend!!

Great Location, But the Cottage Needs Updating

Overall the location is great, but there are some things that would make this place 5 stars- the furniture throughout the place is very old- the couches feel like you are going to fall through them, and beds are all too soft or too hard. The outside needs the grass cut and the gardens tended to- it looks very unkempt. The roof top deck is great for sunsets, but again- super run down, the deck needs painting and some decent patio furniture, not plastic green chairs from the 90s. Value for price, I wouldn't rent it again. Also, there is an ant problem in the kitchen, you cannot leave anything out, or dishes in the sink or they all show up. Raid under the sink- but thats not safe around food. Need ant traps. Plus side there is tv and the kitchen is well equipped. Air conditioning worked well.

We had a delightful stay in Eastham! The house is close to the beach and great walking through the neighborhood. We had a few rainy days, but the house was so enjoyable it really didn’t matter. I’d love to return someday!

Girl’s reunion weekend

I reconnected with some friends from graduate school and we loved this property. Everything was in good order and the check in and out process was easy. Del Mar was very easy to work and communicate with regarding the property.

Great out of season location. Well kept and clean home.

Delightful, pleasant stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this well cared-for home in the Cape. The open floor plan with lots of windows gave us the feeling of being in a much larger property. Dramatic sunsets could be seen from either the deck above the house or the lovely beach nearby. There were just a few small issues we had with the house: the master bedroom's double mattress was way too soft so we decided to use the room with twin beds instead; those mattresses were terrific. Some of the windows had screens but there were none in the bedrooms so we would encourage the owner to install them for better air circulation in the house, particularly to take advantage of the sea breezes. House check-out was a bit taxing because it involved not only packing our bags and the car, but also stripping the beds of all sheets and pillowcases, gathering towels, cleaning and putting away all dishes, putting out the garbage and recycling items -- all by 9 a.m.! (Isn't this why we paid a cleaning fee?) We did such scurrying about to get everything in order that one of us left behind some jewelry that unfortunately wasn't found/returned by the cleaners even though we inquired immediately about the items. That's it, though -- no real major problems. As to the location: one of the highlights of our stay was the drive to scenic Provincetown via Truro and the walk (albeit strenuous) to the art shacks on the coast. For a local dinner, we highly recommend CShore Kitchen and Bar in Wellfleet with its off-the-charts delicious lime/coconut mojito and really fantastic entrees. We can also suggest Beacon Room in Orleans for an absolutely excellent meal and wine list. The trip to the Nantucket ferry wasn't onerous and parking was convenient. Nantucket is a fun excursion for sure, as is a trip to the Vineyard. Overall, this home was well-situated, super clean, adequately stocked with dishes, linens and other supplies, making it a pleasure to stay there. We hope other renters have as nice a time there as we did!

Wonderful Cape Cod beach vacation and home!

Our family loved staying at this terrific home! It is located steps away from Cooks Brook Beach yet in a quiet and private neighborhood The house was so clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The roof deck, with it's spectacular bay views, was certainly a highlight. Working with Del Mar made the entire rental reservation process extremely simple and seamless. Hope to return again!!!!
