Serene

We absolutely loved this property. With the nature preserve next door it was so peaceful and quiet. We loved the trees along the bay. The house was perfect with all the updates they did. Everything was clean and fresh. We highly recommend this location. The only suggestion we have is to put hooks by the door as you come in for coats.

Thank you for your stay! That's a great idea for the coat hooks, we added them when we were at the cabin for 4th of July in the nook next to the fridge.

Great water front retreat!

We stayed at Batten’s ReTreat for 5 days/4 nights and it was amazing! The location is perfect being just a few moment drive from the Brooklin General Store as well as the cute town of Blue Hill, and about an hour from Acadia. We were able to bring our pups, and they had a blast exploring the property as well as the bay. The cabin was clean and supplied everything we needed including a washer and drying, which came in handy for the towels and blankets we brought. There is a nice trail right at the end of the driveway, and having front yard access to the bay was almost unreal. The property manager was responsive and eager to share recommendations, which was very much appreciated. Overall we would highly recommend!
