Beautiful Home with an Equally Impressive View

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay! Kelly was super responsive and we appreciated the personalized directions and details. The house was spotless and comfortable. The views are incredible. So much so that we decided to stay in on Saturday night just to watch the sun set behind the mountains. Morning views are equally impressive. Everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay at this amazing property!

Beautiful views and lovely home.

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely perfect for our weekend. Close to downtown Asheville and shopping but you feel like you are a million miles away from anyone else when you get to the top of the mountain. This house sits at the top, the end of a steep winding road that was easy to get up in our little sports car. The kitchen had every utensil and appliance needed, the closets stocked with towels. It was SO clean and the furnishings were nice. The beds were GREAT! We have a Select Comfort at home and we never expect as nice as that, but we were happy with the master bed upstairs. There were even little trails off the entry road that led us to a small creek running down the mountain. It was nice! Kelly was an amazing host and was easy to work with before, during and after our stay. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Roomy Cabin with Rustic Appeal

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was roomy and the view was great. Cable was just installed and the reception was fantastic. The cabin sits on the tippy top of a mountain and the road leading up is narrow and winding so arrive before dark. All in all very nice place to stay.

Nice Weekend!

  • 4 of 5

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The Cabin was clean and neat. The kitchen was stocked well and we had everything we needed for cooking several meals. We enjoyed the deck out front and the SPECTACULAR view during the day and at night. The sound system was a nice addition especially since there is no cable. For those who are planning to stay during the Winter months, be sure you have a vehicle with 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. It snowed 2+ inches two days before we arrived. The driveway/road was covered with snow and ice and only one of two vehicles made it up to the cabin. We had a friendly neighbor that allowed us to leave it at the other vehicle at his house. Kelly was easy to work with. He was quick to respond to text and the deposit was refunded in a timely manner. Thanks!!

Beautiful view, quaint comfortable cabin

  • 4 of 5

Everything you could possibly need at this cabin, which is very rare! My only slight disappointment was the fact that you do not get hardly any TV stations, which usually wouldn't be a problem except that we were trying to watch the NFL playoff games! The only other issue is that the internet was incredibly intermittent and would cut you off a lot...however, the beautiful view substitutes for that!! The owner is INCREDIBLE and texts you all the time to keep in touch and ensure that you have everything you need.

Owner's Response: The guests were nice enough to notify me of the internet issue and we quickly resolved it with a hard reboot. And, it's too bad that they did not read my property listing which describes the current TV situation. But there is good news for future guests: cable is being installed at the cabin in February 2018. This means full TV service and faster internet. Lastly, this guest's comment about me texting guests "all the time" is kind of funny. But it could concern people so I want to clarify that I only send my guests a welcome text to make sure they arrive safely and that things are off to a good start. After that, I leave my guests alone unless they need me. In this case, the guest sent me multiple texts, and I promptly answered each of them. I think that is what she was trying to communicate :) Thanks!

The property was everything we expected!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kelly. He emailed me prior to our trip to let us know about road conditions due to the fact that it had snowed the weekend before. Since we were coming from Alabama that was a big help. He checked on us several other times just to make sure things were ok. I would definitely recommend this property. I am sure my family will be back.
