Kemp communicated with us from the time of booking to the day we left. He answered our questions and provided us with brochures or suggestions. The property is nested on a quiet street with a beautiful view of the tidal marsh. It is only 5 mins from downtown Beaufort where you can shop and eat and enjoy the beauty.
Great house in town over the marsh from Boundary .street. The house and neighborhood are well kept very clean just makes you proud to be here. Good to us, you can hear air base jets taking off.
Spent a wonderful week in Beaufort with all the comforts of home. Especially enjoyed the deck for our morning coffee. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds very comfortable. The location is very convenient as well. The Spanish moss trail is a must do when visiting.
The house on the marsh was perfect for us. Kemp was a terrific host - responsive and helpful but not intrusive. He gave great recommendations for what to see and do in the area. We were able to ride our bikes from the house into downtown Beaufort and along the Spanish Moss trail. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable.
We're from up North and needed a break from a health challenge +COVID, and boy did we get it here! The house was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. You can tell the owner is meticulous! There was a fully outfitted Kitchen so we could cook for ourselves and bikes that we rode all over town and along a Spanish Moss trail that can be accessed at the end of the block. Beautiful sunset view from along the trail which was almost certainly an old RR bed. The back yard of the house faces the marsh and we watched the tide come in and go out each day-mesmerizing! I even saw a PELICAN out there one night, and I just LOVE them for their awkwardness and eccentricity! Charles was most attentive and helpful-right there whenever we had questions. All in all it was a stellar experience and we would come back and stay any day! Best Wishes ALL!
Our family visited the area during the long 4th of July Weekend. The home was perfect and the owner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was stress free and enjoyable. Would definately recommend!!
When we first booked this house, the owner contacted us immediately providing helpful information about the area. We were happy to have chosen this particular house in a very friendly neighborhood. The Spanish Moss biking trail was amazing located in a walking distance from the house - with two small bridges to fish from. Just over a mile from different stores and downtown Beaufort - which is a great area to walk and go for ice cream.
The layout of the house was wonderful for my two little children and we all agreed that we want to come back.
PS. Did I mention that my seven years old learned how to bike without the training wheels?...

A Weekend to Remember
We rented this adorable house for four nights this May. It was perfect. It was conveniently located to downtown and great restaurants. The house itself has plenty of room and a reading chair in the Carolina room that I consider “mine” but I will loan it to you if you want to visit. Every night, after dinner, I went down by the dock with my book and read and watched the beautiful sunset. It was so peaceful. We never heard or saw the other neighbors. It was our own, private getaway for four days. We were lucky to have it. Easy to rent through VRBO and the owner is funny and pleasant to deal with. You’ll wish he was onsite. You can’t go wrong with this house! Sleeps 6, living room, dining room, Carolina room, kitchen, two baths, master bed with bath and gorgeous view. Porch furniture. We were told there were bikes in the shed, but it was 100 degrees so we didn’t ride anywhere. Happy travels!

Great place and location!
What a gem of a place!! The house is super clean and cozy! I love all the windows and natural light! The view out back is amazing especially in the early morning. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful! The house is just a few mins from downtown Beaufort and the waterfront with lots of great dining options.
Also a very convenient drive to hunting island where we spent a lot of time.
The owner Kemp was great with communication and checking to make sure all was well.
I highly recommend this place!

Perfect Place to Relax and Unwind
The house is in a quiet Beaufort neighborhood close to shopping and restaurants on Bay Street. The house is immaculate, and the interior is well appointed. Sitting on the deck watching the tides from the creek in the backyard was a special treat! Kemp, the owner gave us recommendations as to where to visit and eat. It was hard to leave after only three days. We will be back again soon!

Nicely maintained.Super clean. Perfect location.
Owner very prompt with all communication. There was just two of us staying here but it would accommodate six comfortably. Neighborhood felt safe and walking about and riding bikes provided was enjoyable. There were birds on lagoon and was a bit chilly to be setting outside, we watched from breakfast area. Kitchen stocked well. Plenty of towels, etc.

This is a very cozy home with lovely marsh views. We loved watching the birds at low tide...and the marsh raccoon! The location is absolutely perfect, close to town and near roads that will take you to many beautiful areas. We hated to leave and would love to stay here again someday. Beautiful, clean, great location
My husband and I just spent a week at this beautiful house. Nice neighborhood, close to Spanish Moss bike/ hike trail, and downtown Beaufort. Walked the sidewalks to downtown. Loved sitting on the back deck over looking the creek. Beautiful wildlife viewing. Comfortable and updated living space. Close to grocery and shopping. Owner near by to help with anything needed. Can't wait to go back!

Great Location
My mom, sisters and I stayed at this rental in March. It was the perfect area and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The home has a great floor plan (don't be deceived by the size from the front because it is much larger than it appears). The owner lives nearby and was always available to answer questions. The home was well equipped with essential supplies and there was even a bottle of wine there to greet us. I would definately consider this rental again in the future!

Excellent Extended Stay
We recently stayed here for a month. This comfortable house is in a lovely quiet area, close to all amenities and within walking distance from downtown Beaufort. The house is clean & comfortable. The well-equipped kitchen is suitable for cooking all meals. BBQ & bicycles are on-site. The back deck is lovely & the house is close to the Spanish Moss Trail for walking & biking. Beaufort is a great spot for shops, restaurants & bars & from which to explore the surrounding area. The pictures & description are accurate & complete. The owners, Kemp & Adair, are nearby, helpful & friendly but not intrusive. Highly recommended. We would definitely return.

Beautiful & Comfortable!
Beginning a new job in a new location can be daunting. Fortunately, my spouse and I had met Kemp while in the area during my interview a few months earlier – and he offered us a short-term lease on this house. What was supposed to be a 2-3 month stay turned into 6 months - from the end of July, 2016 to the end of January, 2017. Most of that time I was alone, while my spouse worked on selling our home.
The house is a little gem, tucked into a quiet, friendly neighborhood just minutes away from downtown. It’s also close to the Spanish Moss Trail, where I enjoyed many walks. The property is kept in meticulous order, and Kemp is quick to respond to any needs a guest might have. The kitchen is fully equipped, the wifi is dependable and fast, Satellite TV is available; everything in this house works, and works well.
In good weather, I enjoyed time on the deck when I could, eating lunch in midday – or drinking a glass of wine in early evening. Even when the weather turned cool or rainy, the water view from the Carolina Room was spectacular. I never spotted the otters, but marveled daily at the abundance of beautiful birds.
I will recommend this property to any and all friends who decide to visit Beaufort!
