Welcome to Twin Oaks Lodge — a private, resort-style mountain estate by Woods & Waves Vacation Homes, southwest of Asheville.
This is the kind of place you book for a milestone weekend, a multi-family getaway, or a “we never all get together anymore” trip—and it delivers. Tucked on five wooded acres with mountain views, Twin Oaks Lodge was designed for groups who want both togetherness and true breathing room: two pools, a speakeasy lounge, a theater-style game level, firelit patios, and multiple bedroom wings so everyone can retreat when they want quiet.
And it’s not a “managed from afar” rental. I’m Kristi, the owner, and we personally maintain Twin Oaks Lodge and stay here ourselves to keep it immaculate. It’s smoke-free and dander-free, and you’ll feel the care in how the home presents and performs.
The Twin Oaks Experience
Start your morning slow: coffee in the great room as the light pours through the windows, or on the deck with nothing but birdsong and tree-lined views. Spend the day exactly how your group wants—swimming indoors while it rains, sunbathing by the outdoor pool with the mountains in front of you, grilling and making pizza on the patio, then rotating between pool tournaments, arcade battles, poker hands, mah jongg, and movie night in theater recliners.
As the evening settles in, Twin Oaks becomes what guests love most: a place to gather. A crackling wood fire on the lawn, a glass of wine in the speakeasy, kids laughing in the gaga ball pit, and everyone ending the night in the hot tub under the stars.
This isn’t just where you sleep. It’s where your best memories happen.

The communication from Kristi was excellent. The amenities were thoughtful, plentiful and much appreciated. We had a wonderful week celebrating the New Year with family. Thank you so much for staying with us, and for the kind words! We’re thrilled you had a wonderful time together, from the pool and hot tub to the movie theater and game room. It means a lot that you felt right at home. We’d love to host you again!
This property was just so perfect for my large family to enjoy. Everyone in the group commented about how nice it was with the Mountain View’s, large bedrooms, the indoor pool, hot tub, entertainment room and large kitchen. The back deck is a great place to soak up the view and sun. We had 3 couples, 7 single adults and 3 kids and all had their own bed! The grill and pizza oven came in very handy for our dinners. The kids had a ball in the pool! I really can’t say enough good things about our stay. Highly recommend!

I am so happy to hear the house was perfect fit for your family. Hearing that the kids had a ball in the pool absolutely makes my day.✨
Thank you for the kind words and for recommending us. It was truly a pleasure hosting your family, and we welcome you all back for another stay in the future. Thank you! 🏔️✨
We enjoyed this home over Christmas week. We had 14 people including 4 children 10 or under. This home is well planned to support large groups. Large eating area, large kitchen with plenty of equipment to support cooking and eating needs. The game room is great as well as the theatre room. We did not get to use the outside pool though the kids enjoyed the indoor pool as a way to use their energy. The firepit was great. The weather was perfect for us so that helped to make it a focus in the evening. Highly recommend this home and I would rent it again.

Thank you so much for trusting us for your vacation, and for the wonderful review! We’re so happy Twin Oaks Lodge worked well for your group, and that everyone loved the indoor pool, game room, and theater. The firepit is our evening favorite too, with that perfect weather! We truly appreciate the recommendation and would love to host you again anytime! Ask for a repeat guest discount!
The house was absolutely stunning, pictures don’t do it justice!! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to host our family for our small immediate family during our wedding at Pretty Place! Everything about the house screamed luxury, because that’s what it was! Would love to come back if we ever plan another family trip to Asheville. Only complaint is that we didn’t book the house for a few more day!! Thank you!

We’re so honored you chose Twin Oaks Lodge for your family during wedding weekend! Thrilled to hear it was the perfect backdrop for everyone and that you enjoyed the luxury touches. We’d love to welcome you back whenever Asheville calls again. Thank you!
We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was even better than the photos—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax, and just as many spots to come together and hang out as a group. What really stood out was how much there was to do—our group included several young adults, and they were never bored. From games and entertainment options to relaxing outdoor spaces, the property had everything we needed for a fun and memorable trip. The location was great, and the host was responsive and easy to work with. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!
