Located in Traverse City Michigan, this lovely 14 yr. old Lodge sits on a private 1 acre lot with 100 ft. of sandy beach frontage on beautiful High Lake, a peaceful 50 acre semi private lake with very low water traffic but much natural beauty including the wild life and water fowl. Even the Bald Eagles nest here. Located only 4 miles from the Cherry Capital Airport, 8 miles from down town Traverse City and just 7-9 miles from the beautiful East & West Grand Traverse Bays yet in the winter you can snowmobile, cross country ski, snowshoe or ice fish right from the Lodge, only ¼ mile to groomed trails,(maps are available), and in the summer the lake is wonderful for swimming (Sandy Beach)and any water sport.

This 3 bdrm (one bedroom is actually a bed area) 2.5 bath 3,500 sq. ft. rustic beach Lodge can easily accommodate 2-3 families sleeping up to 16, 8 in the upper level and 8 in the lower walk out level. Upper level has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, 2 living rooms with a new fold out full size sofa in each, 2 kitchens fully equipped, 2 full bathrooms showers, no tubs, 4 TV, washer and dryer. Lower level has 1 double(full) size fold out, a bunk bed (twin over double), one twin size roll away bed and a large sectional sofa and a small sectional sofa. Also there is a game area with a pool table, bumper pool table, Foosball, 85" flat screen TV and large card table as well as other tables and chairs. Another fully equipped kitchen. Both of the upper level refrigerators have 2 ice makers each, along with a beverage cooler located on the lower level patio. Bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels, linens, blankets, soaps and some paper products are provided for your use. The upper deck, 50 ’x 16’, has built in benches and other deck furniture for your comfort as well as a gas grill (gas furnished). Great for beach activities in the summer with 2 docks, a raft, paddle boat, a metal row boat and fire pit for your use. Kayaks and a paddle board are available at an extra charge. Also there is a picnic table and a fire pit on the beach. A list of other activities and interesting places to visit (from A to Z ) and the addresses, phone #’s and maps for them will be available at the Lodge. There is a restaurant/pizza (with delivery), country store/gas station and fire and rescue just ½ mile away on the opposite side of the lake.

The National Cherry Festival is held annually every July! In 2024 the National Cherry Festival starts in June. Saturday June 29, 2024 and ends Saturday July 6, 2024. The Blue Angels are scheduled to be here for the 2024 Cherry Festival with air shows on Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th.
Traverse City has boasted being titled as the 'Cherry Capital of the World' and this Festival is known worldwide. 1 week of many wonderful activities for young and old, large carnival, parades, and fireworks the last day!

The Red Wings Training Camp is in September each year! 2024 dates are yet to be determined.
