An elegant, peaceful retreat awaits you in this beautifully appointed beach house. The three bedroom, two bath vacation rental sits in an unusually quiet residential area with access to all of the area’s most popular attractions: It is located three blocks from Twin Lakes Beach (with lifeguards and fire pits) and half a mile from the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. It’s just five minutes from the Boardwalk amusement park, Capitola Village, and lively downtown Santa Cruz; ten minutes from redwood forests with miles of hiking and biking trails; a 40-minute drive from Monterey Bay Aquarium; and a 35-minute drive from the San Jose Airport.

This comfortable, beautifully decorated house includes a fully equipped kitchen with concrete counters and upscale appliances - everything you need to entertain at home. All three bedrooms have their own private decks, cable TV, and VCR. Downstairs floors offer radiant heat, and a cozy gas fireplace in the living room. If you have to bring your work with you, the upstairs loft/office offers high-speed DSL, an Apple computer, and fax machine.

The fenced in backyard has a private hot tub, you can relax under the star, as well as a picnic table for outdoor dining and BBQ. There is even a wagon provided with sun chairs and toys to make your beach vacation complete. Linens and towels provided. Just bring your swimsuits and enjoy! Sleeps one to eight people. This is a non smoking, dog friendly house (with owner approval).

Santa Cruz Beach Bliss

We just finished our second stay in this lovely Santa Cruz beach house. Its location in the Twin Lakes area is convenient, but it's out of the way of heavy traffic. Twin Lakes Beach is just down the street within the distance of an an easy walk.

Best beach house we have ever rented in Santa Cruz!

We have been going to Santa Cruz for our annual family vacation for years and this house was our favorite. It was the perfect fit for our group of five adults, two kids and a dog. It has everything you could ask for and more. It's tastefully decorated, has a well-equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, great open floor plan with kitchen, living, and dining room, comfortable beds, and a sunny office nook if you can't get away from work. Soaking in the hot tub on the patio in the evenings was a definite plus! We used the two bikes provided along with some of our own to bike the trails along West Cliff Drive and also to Capitola. We loved walking with our dog to Twin Lakes Beach every morning and also enjoyed walking to Crows Nest in the evenings for happy hours at the outdoor tables with a view of the ocean. The owner was a pleasure to work with. We would heartily recommend this home to our friends and hope to be back again next year!

So much to do! Hiking, Santa Cruz Boardwalk is 5 minutes away, Beautiful Twin Lakes Beach is just an easy 3 block stroll, Deep Sea Fishing, the Schwann Lagoon is in your Backyard, Shopping in both Santa Cruz as well as the charming town of Capitola, both just minutes away, Excellent selection of Restaurants, including the Crows Nest, a Mexican restauran and a coffee shop at the harbor entrance which is easy walking distance from the house. There is a great breakfast/lunch restaurant the Harbor Cafe right around the corner on 9th Ave, they have great mimosas and a fun atmosphere.
